I am curious why you think that the Karen Cockburn article is insufficiently referenced. I have seen your work on Charlotte Drury and it is very good with many detailed references. However, for a biographical article, it is not really necessary to reference every score and event in detail and I believe that Karen's article has all the necessary references. If you really think more are needed as opposed to being desirable, it would be a courtesy to add something on the Talk page indicating where you have concerns rather than just tagging the page and leaving no explanation. Having too many internet references can cause maintenance problems when links die, as they often do for sporting events. Dabbler (talk) 10:08, 25 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You are correct, I should have provided some explanation. I was a bit fried after working on another article and neglected that part. I'm working on the article for Rosie MacLennan in my sandbox as it is in need of some significant revision/update and I'm having a very difficult time tracking down competition information. Gymnastics Canada doesn't appear to keep a central repository of competition results like USA Gymnastics does, and even what I have been able to track down often seems to lack T&T events. I've reviewed other athlete's articles and it does look like most if not all events are referenced in some way. If not, whose to say what their final score/place was at that competition if a third party source is not provided? Since Karen and Rosie have competed alongside each other for most of their careers, I was hoping to use her page as a source, but it's in even worse shape than Rosie's. As it hadn't been updated in quite some time, I wasn't optimistic that it would be updated, but I thought I'd throw the tag on just in case. Would you not agree that the article lacks sufficient sourcing to be of encyclopedic quality or am I off base? I look forward to your comments. Cizzlewizzle (talk) 16:57, 25 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Try this link for T&T results since 2012 for many Canadian national level competitions http://www.integratedsports.net/ . I don't know of any site which retains the scores for earlier competitions which is probably why I am sceptical of linking to results for competitions as I have found that the links so quickly die as sites are changed. It is a nice to have if the information is there but it doesn't seem to be stable for long enough. Dabbler (talk) 22:45, 25 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the link. https://usagym.org/pages/results/index.html is also really good, as long as the US had athletes participating. Many of the international competitions are sanctioned by FIG, so http://www.fig-gymnastics.com/site/index.php should have comp results, but sometimes they're tricky to find. Failing that, you have to try and track down the event webpage and find results, but as you say sometimes they only keep the current stuff and no archive, which is why I try to only use them as a last resort. So for athletes like Rosie and Karen who've been jumping since the '90s, it's exceedingly difficult to compile a thorough listing of competitions. I've made good progress going back to 2005 so far, with some holes here and there, so once I update Rosie's page those references could be used to update Karen's.Cizzlewizzle (talk) 03:13, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Firstly it is very impolite of you to change my posting and particularly when you changed a perfectly good word to what I consider to be an less correct spelling. I use British-Canadian spelling and so the correct spelling of the word for me is SCEPTICAL. Please review WP:ENGVAR and the guidelines about changing other people's posts (hint: don't fix other people's posts). Dabbler (talk) 03:35, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Do you consider that to be "an" less correct spelling? Lesson learned.Cizzlewizzle (talk) 00:44, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
