Reword
[edit]Please revise the following: "The hygenical conditions are accordingly appalling." --67.186.249.241 (talk) 09:43, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
there is higher settlement in Nepal
[edit]I've added a link to main article, while it doesn't count as city, it looks like it is only for tourist accommodation, there are only few buildings, but seems whole families with children live there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJXTUPzuS6Q, at about 11 min after the man who got AMS and must be carried to lower elevation 4280 (so that's not the altitude here) there are close shots of the buildings and there is a small child walking alone. pwjb (talk) 09:25, 21 June 2014 (UTC)
Disagreement between text and climate table
[edit]In the text, "no month having average temperatures even close to the 10°C threshold that would permit tree growth" disagrees with the climate table showing two months above 10C (October and November) and both August and September at 9.6C. Trees probably can't grow on account of such a short growing season, but it certainly is technically possible by those criteria... Lakmiseiru (talk) 16:56, 7 May 2018 (UTC)
You seem to be looking at the average high temperatures, not the monthly means. A monthly mean of above about 10°C is necessary for tree growth, but La Rinconada's warmest month is only 2.7C. Booshank (talk) 20:42, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
The elevation is not 5100 meters above sea level
[edit]I pinpointed the exact lowest and highest elevations of La Rinconada on Floodmap, being 4741 meters above sea level and 5181 meters above sea levels (By the way i tried my best to do it as exactly as i could) and, after doing some very simple math, the average elevation of La Rinconada is infact, 4961 FUCKING METERS ABOVE SEA LEVEL. you gotta fix this man. - Calm down, the city center is at 5050 as can be seen in any map.--Nillurcheier (talk) 11:51, 17 February 2024 (UTC)

– Overwhelmingly WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, see the pageviews graph. [1] Chessrat (talk, contributions) 15:13, 25 April 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. Bensci54 (talk) 16:51, 2 May 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. BilledMammal (talk) 02:06, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
- Strong support at the least there is no primary topic, the Peru one has 734,379 views and the Albacete one has 422 compared with only 17,089 for the Andalusia one. Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:46, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
- Comment I note that many article titles for Spanish municipalities don't currently follow this, but per WP:PLACEDAB, Cityname, Countryname should be used - La Rinconada, Spain. 162 etc. (talk) 01:14, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
- Comment La Rinconada, Spain would not be sufficient disambiguation thanks to the existence of La Rinconada (Albacete). Chessrat (talk, contributions) 10:48, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
- We are really pushing the limits of notability with that one. Merge to Casas de Lázaro, with (possibly) a hatnote. 162 etc. (talk) 17:15, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
- Comment La Rinconada, Spain would not be sufficient disambiguation thanks to the existence of La Rinconada (Albacete). Chessrat (talk, contributions) 10:48, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose 1st, Support 2nd. No primary topic here by long-term significance. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:16, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
- Relisting comment: Appears to be consensus for the second, but the first needs further discussion BilledMammal (talk) 02:06, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
