Reliable sources
[edit]Are we saying that ESPN.com is not a reliable source? Because most of the recruiting information is from that web site. I personally feel that when they refer to them selves as the world wide leader in sports, its not just a slogan its the truth. How does everyone else feel about?Racingstripes (talk) 17:47, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
- I don't understand either how usatoday, espn, washington post, rivals (of the yahoo network) and scout (of the Fox sports network)are not reliable sources. enigmaman links us to Wikipedia:Reliable sources which says right on that page "Material from mainstream news organizations is welcomed, particularly the high-quality end of the market, such as The Washington Post" and yet removes the info cited by the washinginton post? Ryan2845 (talk) 00:56, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
- Some of the links were not correctly formatted. (IE, you don't need a "|" between the URL and the title you give for each link.) Maybe that was why the sources were dismissed? Zagalejo^^^ 05:36, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
I will be deleting a few words that are slandering Lance Stevenson and that do not contribute in any positive manner to his biography. Looks like someone else just did it.CryogenicFuture (talk) 02:36, 21 May 2014 (UTC)

There is no picture for Lance Stephenson, which is odd for an established NBA player, one should be added. I recommend this one http://usatftw.files.wordpress.com/2014/02/usatsi_7771619.jpg?w=295&h=231&crop=1 P0in7B1ank (talk) 02:58, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
- Not done for now: On Commons we only have the 2010 picture, which is already in the article, and certainly could be both better and newer. If you find a free image of Stephenson, please upload it to Commons. Sam Sailor Sing 06:52, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
Reported trade
[edit]The source in one of the edit summaries https://twitter.com/daldridgetnt/status/610606172790476800 says "Source confirms ..." No name provided, meaning it's an anonymous source, which should be treated conservatively per WP:RSBREAKING. WP:SPORTSTRANS also details how this is typically handled in sports articles.—Bagumba (talk) 01:03, 16 June 2015 (UTC)

External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to 6 external links on Lance Stephenson. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}

Stephenson reportedly signed with the CBA
[edit]Hello, I've just heard on the news regarding Lance Stephenson has reportedly signed with the Chinese Basketball Association according to numerous news articles including this one. VictorTorres2002 (talk) 13:02, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, it's technically not official yet but there are multiple reports and it's very late in the off-season so I went ahead and updated his page accordingly. Thanks. RichieConant34 (talk) 13:10, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
