All People's Republic of China articles regarding events after 1949 must use Hanyu Pinyin, regardless of the linguistical origins of persons involved. Having someone from Guangdong does not mean that WP:MOS cannot be enforced. Even though the individuals may "natively speak Cantonese", since this article falls under the "China" category, and not the "Hong Kong" category, WP:MOS states that all personal and location names must be written in Standard Pinyin. Because this is not a cultural article, the change should be no problem. If you want to rename it, please do. Benjwong (talk) 18:21, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I kind of like the sound of "Lam and Tse". To be honest. But yes, according to WP:MOS, it should be in Pinyin. I'm not motivated enough to change this myself. Colipon+(Talk) 15:06, 14 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I just moved it. WhisperToMe (talk) 22:40, 31 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
