"Cultural references"

[edit]

What exactly is the reference here? At the academic alerts assembly, bully Kearney has Dolph take a memo on an Apple Newton. When Dolph writes "Beat up Martin" on the screen, the handwriting recognition turns it into "Eat up Martha", and Kearney throws the Newton at Martin instead.[6] The newton is real, but so are a lot of things in The Simpsons. Is the reference that the newtons were notorious for having issues with handwriting recognition? If so that should be spelled out (and cited)--Crossmr (talk) 03:49, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I can tell, there is no evidence for a Rollerball cultural reference. The footnote has nothing about Rollerball and the commentary says nothing about Rollerball. If there is a reference to Rollerball, please cite evidence. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.194.167.185 (talk) 20:28, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Why are Ryan Keefers reviews on every season 6 episode? They're barely a sentence, not even from the time of the episodes release. They're worthless. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.171.61.211 (talk) 06:28, 30 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
