[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on M.O.P.. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20140702064804/http://www.billboard.com/artist/276837/mop/chart?f=353 to http://www.billboard.com/artist/276837/mop/chart?f=353
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
).

Requested move 10 January 2017
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: not moved. Consensus is that M.O.P. is primarily known by their initials and not their full name (similar to N.W.A). (non-admin closure) JudgeRM (talk to me) 20:12, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
M.O.P. → Mash Out Posse – M.O.P. has many meanings and it should redirect to MOP. Mikael Häggström (talk) 09:25, 10 January 2017 (UTC) Mikael Häggström (talk) 09:25, 10 January 2017 (UTC)
- Support absolutely, the dots are used with the others and this group are known as Mash Out Posse . In ictu oculi (talk) 09:59, 10 January 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose. Whilst that is what it stands for, they are overwhelmingly known by the initials. Unreal7 (talk) 09:46, 12 January 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose per Unreal7. This is exactly the same case as N.W.A. If the nom wants to make a well-sourced case that this group is not the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC of the acronym M.O.P, and that it should be disambiguated as something like "M.O.P. (band)", he's welcome to do so, but that would be a different RM. — SMcCandlish ☺ ☏ ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ᴥⱷʌ≼ 02:53, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
- It's not the same case since N.W.A. are popular and M.O.P. aren't. Also there are few other meanings of N.W.A. but many for M.O.P. See "NWA is" "N.W.A. is""MOP is" "M.O.P. is"
- Oppose - I have never heard anyone refer to M.O.P. by their extended title. DrStrauss talk 15:28, 15 January 2017 (UTC)
- The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
