Notability

[edit]

I removed the template because the article has only been overhauled yesterday and is already near Wikipedia editing standards. If it is still not notable, please properly nominate it in an AfD (unlike last time). This template necessitates some work, that is true. gidonb 10:47, 16 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

She is ralley non-notable in Israel. --Haham hanuka 19:52, 16 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Has she or has she not exhibited at the Israel Museum? gidonb 19:55, 16 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
She has, among with 44 other exhibitors (for the same exhibition). Yellow up 00:13, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Haham hanuka is a known troll. Maayan is a known artist in the art scene. Shmila 16:55, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
One out of 44 is still a real accomplishment for a young artist. I understand that the Hebrew Wikipedia has already AfDd her and the result was keep. [1] If someone would like to AfD her here, I will look further into notability. However, given her exhibit in the Israel museum and the Hebrew AfD, I strongly believe that the speedy deletion that Haham hanuka proposed is very wrong. For now, I regard this as a fully deserving Wikipedia article. gidonb 17:11, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Max Stern Prize

[edit]

What is this prize and who awards it? I failed to find it on the web. Any details are welcome! gidonb 23:02, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Update: Prize has been deleted by user Shmila. gidonb 11:51, 29 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy-delete declined

[edit]

I have declined a speedy-delete request on this page (CSD G5), which was originally proposed as follows:

{{db-banned|Nnimrodd}}

evidence: [2] and [3]

I decided to decline the speedy-delete request because the page was created over two years ago by the user named above. At this point, since the page has a significant edit history since that time, I don't believe that's a valid CSD reason anymore. It may still meet a different CSD criterion, but my suggestion would be to open an AFD instead. This will help to gain the attention of other editors who can help determine whether this page should remain.

Thanks. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 19:51, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

After reverting the original CSD template/page blanking, I left a couple of messages on the user's talk page regarding this issue and why I thought a CSD wasn't appropriate here. Bettia (rawr CRUSH!) 08:19, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
