Full of Mistakes[edit]

Did not know, where this all came from, but this article is full of mistakes.

  • she did not worked for the Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft - she worked in a project financed by the DFG
  • her husband was the important Aladár Radnóti - should be named
  • "In 1961 she received a qualification in numismatics from the University of Monaco" - no, it was the Habilitation at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, definetly NOT Monaco. She was planned there for the new subject Numismatics, but followed her husband to Frankfurt University, where she followed him as professor after his early dead
  • "She is a professor at the Akademie der Wissenschaften und der Literatur" - no, she is not. Nobody is. At german academies you can't become professor. She only was at the Frankfurt University. But the title professor stays after the emeritation

Nearly every information except her memberships and awards is wrong. This really is an achivement. And the false informations are not backed by the given websites. -- Marcus Cyron (talk) 21:49, 2 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Marcus Cyron: - Ok, as a general flag you should Assume good faith here. Your comments ("every information except her memberships and awards is wrong. This really is an achivement") are rather pointed. Familiarise yourself with Wikipedia:Civility please. This article was created using less-than-ideal online translation tools from the German and Italian Wikipedia articles. The listed positions and titles are variously gathered from those articles. If you are aware of other secondary sources that can be used to clarify and improve the accuracy of this biography please do so. As for her relationship to Radnoti - yes it can be mentioned but the relationships between people are secondary to their individual notability here, which is what this article is trying to establish (e.g. WIR:Relationships). If you don't wish to edit the article directly, please feel free to add links onto the talk page here. Thanks for taking an interest. Zakhx150 (talk) 09:11, 6 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
    • Zakhx150 Thank you for your work on the page, I think that it's a great start! If there are issues with the article, changes should be made to improve it rather than lodging complaints on talk-pages. Srsval (talk) 15:16, 6 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
      • @Marcus Cyron: Hi Marcus, am (good faith) assuming that the tone others have highlighted is a language difficulty on your part - it does however come across as rather pointed. If you want to be helpful, please either update the page or at the very least put in the references for your assertions. You are an admin so I am sure that you know this and unsure why you chose to deal with this page about an important numismatist in this fashion. I have a brief amount of time so will look at what I can now. Thank you.Claire 75 (talk) 14:08, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
        • Looking at the material that has been added, it is directly lifted from the Italian wikipedia page and does not have references to support it. I shall look to see what can be substantiated and unfortunately may have to remove that which cannot be. Claire 75 (talk) 14:20, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
