My next GA in progress?[edit]

I never really thought the page has come this far after almost nine months, thanks mostly to The 80s chick (talk · contribs · count), who contributed to the plot section and was responsible for the maintenance duties. Although some of the additions could have merit (besides the childish spelling), this is an encyclopedia and the content of articles should written accordingly. On TV in the U.S.[edit]

I don't know if there is a Wikipedia rule about TV broadcast of theatrical film, but if you are going to add Discovery Family's airing in 2015, at least don't say it's the first in the U.S. domestic television unless/until it is proven because some channels may have aired the film before Discovery Family. (I used Disney Channel as a 'probably' example in edit summary because they aired 80s' MLP show in early 90s, but I can't actually prove it either.) I believe that with the upcoming release of the 2017 My Little Pony: The Movie, this page should be renamed "My Little Pony: The Movie (1986 film)", while "My Little Pony: The Movie" should become a disambiguation page leading to both films. That is a fair point, but with the current popularity of the Friendship is Magic TV series, and with the upcoming film being a direct adaptation with veterans of the series on both writing and directing and the same cast, it is already much awaited. If most people support you idea I'd say go with it, but I believe it would be delaying the inevitable, not to mention that a lot of people will probably end up on this page while searching for the film before its release.
