The number of spelling and grammar errors are obvious at first glance and should be taken care of —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.82.53.145 (talk) 01:10, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Weasel words

"Today, it is considered by many to be one of the top zoos..."

Can anyone find some references to back this up? Cburnett 20:18, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I found a link but not exactly the best of sources. Cburnett 03:18, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
If I remember right it is one of the top 10 US zoos. Nice or in evil (talk) 17:29, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Internal linking

[edit]

Seems like a lot of unnecessary internal linking is in this article. Is it really necessary to link every unit of measurment? Seems a bit much to me. I like WP guidelines for internal links. Too many links are distracting. Hope that helps. A mcmurray 03:44, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I tend to lean toward the liberal usage of links. My general guideline is one link per section (see Lied Jungle for example) if long enough because I don't want to have to go searching for a link. My choice is to leave as is but that's me.

As for prices: I agree. Instead, I thought it'd be interesting to make it historical so I hit archive.org and got prices back to 1999. The near doubling of admission in less than a decade is quite surprising & interesting and I think warrants encyclopedic inclusion instead of wikitravel. Cburnett 06:52, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Admissions fees

[edit]

Is it really necessary to have a section on admissions fees? Funnyhat (talk) 21:28, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Current year: no. Span of near a decade: historical interest. If you have an prices that date back to 1894...I'd find that interesting too. Cburnett (talk) 23:57, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures?

[edit]

I have a really sweet pic of the rare white aligator. Would it be appropriate to post? 208.188.113.180 (talk) 05:22, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
