Allegations of Hostile Work Environment
[edit]In February 2022, around a dozen current and former Dr. Phil employees accused McGraw of mistreating people involved with his show.[3] Speaking anonymously with Buzzfeed News, these people claimed that they experienced "verbal abuse in a workplace that fosters fear, intimidation, and racism."[4] Seven current employees also claimed the show's guests are often brought onto the show when they’re already in a vulnerable state, and are manipulated and treated unethically.[4] Attorneys for McGraw and his co-producer Carla Pennington categorically denied every allegation made.[4] However, a spokesperson for ViacomCBS told Variety, among other things, that "creating safe and inclusive working environments is a top priority" and that “We encourage any employee who believes that they or others within the company have been treated unfairly to report it without a fear of retaliation. We take seriously all such reports.”[5] 2601:447:4000:220:5EB:69E8:5A8B:EAF7 (talk) 23:01, 12 February 2022 (UTC)

No mention of controversies in lead?
[edit]Per WP:LEAD, The lead should stand on its own as a concise overview of the article's topic. It should identify the topic, establish context, explain why the topic is notable, and summarize the most important points, including any prominent controversies
.
I'm not going to, but I recommend someone take a try at writing an appropriate bit about his controversies for the lead. I'd argue the controversies receive such extensive coverage that them not appearing in the lead is strange. 104.232.119.107 (talk) 21:55, 14 June 2024 (UTC)

-- Political affiliations -- On October 27, 2024 Phil McGraw, at a rally for Donald Trump at Madison Square Garden in New York City,
said he doesn’t agree with everything the former president says, but still endorses him. He defended Trump
from people who call him a bully. “To be a bully, there has to be an imbalance of power, and when there’s not, it’s just called a debate, and he’s just better at it than anybody else,” McGraw said."

- Not done There is nothing in the source linked about McGraw. Read WP:BLP. "Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a tabloid: it is not Wikipedia's job to be sensationalist, or to be the primary vehicle for the spread of titillating claims about people's lives".
