the chain is listed as a "honduran" company. it is, in fact a guatemalan company, owned by the guttierez family of guatemala. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.13.190.54 (talk) 20:42, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

El pollo Campero is not from gutemala it is from el salvador!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.67.130.191 (talk) 22:34, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article claims Pollo Campero is the largest fast food chain the the Americas. This is not accurate at all. I would believe largest in Central America, or largest in Latin America perhaps -- perhaps largest in Guatemala. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.229.236.215 (talk) 07:45, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Where can we find documentation of it operating in Italy? The company's online list of locations does not include Italy. Whateverlolawants (talk) 09:41, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Pollocampero.jpg

[edit]

Image:Pollocampero.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Distinguish hatnote

[edit]

Is the distinguish hatnote really needed? I can't really imagine a situation where someone looking for information about a fictional chicken restaurant from Breaking Bad ends up in this article. The names are not that similar either. This seems like an inappropriate use of the hatnote. See Wikipedia:Hatnote. –eruditionFISH 05:18, 18 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Don Pollo

[edit]

The article has a photo of a "Don Pollo" store; there was no explanation of what if any connection "Don Pollo"has to "Pollo Campero". After a quick look at the es:W article, I added an explanation to the photo caption. Anyone more familiar will please correct or expand. Thanks! -- Infrogmation (talk) 18:09, 8 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

History section removed

[edit]

Why was the "History" section removed? Should it be put back? -- Infrogmation (talk) 17:52, 2 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Infrogmation: I pinged @Yamaguchi先生: as he removed it to see if he has further any info. It was unsourced, and the edit summary indicates it was removed for that reason. His removal honestly seems fair enough, but it can be put back if it's sourced to someplace, even the company official site. Usually nowadays people don't pay so much attention to article talk pages, so you'll have to go through the history and track down the specific people who made the edits.
