Jarrell's "Sordid" Past

[edit]

No evidence is given for a "sordid" past as reason for parental diapproval of his name being given to a school. Surely without any supporting detail such a statement should be deleleted, and if there was detail then it should only say "allegedly sordid past". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.31.202.145 (talk) 15:36, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Peter Levi Quote

[edit]

The Peter Levi quote about Jarrell is undocumented; it's attributed to a false Paris Review article. 165.230.138.166 (talk) 15:09, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've looked into this, and the quote in question from Peter Levi is correct and from a real Paris Review article. It can be easily accessed for free online at http://www.theparisreview.org/interviews/3379/the-art-of-poetry-no-24-peter-levi. The quote comes from the very end of the interview.Jpcohen (talk) 16:19, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
