Requested move

[edit]

Jesse Dalton → Ray Gordy - Ray Gordy is the real name of the article subject, whereas Jesse Dalton is a newly adopted ring name and has thus not acquired sufficient status to be the article name. McPhail 15:24, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article has been renamed from Jesse Dalton to Ray Gordy as the result of a move request. --Stemonitis 13:56, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Name

[edit]

Hey, ever since the promos started airing for Jesse and Festus the last name Dalton was not mentioned at all. When Jesse introduces Festus he says "My Partner" not "brother" or "cousin" or anything like that. Another thing that proves they arent related other than actually watching and paying attention is that on last nights episode of Smackdown, Jesse said he isn't Mr. Mchmahon's son but Festus could be. This downplays that Jesse and Festus are family.

WWE debut TV match

[edit]

Prior to the debut of Jesse and Festus, didn't Gordy appear on Smackdown (or maybe Raw?) in a match where he announced beforehand his real name and that he was dedicating the match to his father's memory? Fitfatfighter (talk) 05:49, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You were thinking of David Hart "DH" (Harry) Smith 19:25, 18 July 2009 (UTC)~

Current new gimmick

[edit]

It says here currentley he goes by the name "Slim J," but thats only one of the like, dozen names he has said. Plus the source for his name being "Slim J" is just his Smackdown bio page which names him as "Jesse" and hasn't been updated. I'm gonna change that. 19:25, 18 July 2009 (UTC)~ PLUS... in all four segments he's been in, he says "It's your boy, Jesse, AKA..." So, Im putting his ringname back to being just Jesse. 216.108.207.102 (talk) 19:27, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No, he now goes by Slam Master J, with a wannabe rapper gimmick (he's trying to get in with Cryme Tyme or something, atm).216.157.195.66 (talk) 20:05, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

True, now he does, but during the time I edited it he had no final ring name, just his list. I will delete my sentance about "a number of other aliases" accordingly 216.37.228.98 (talk) 03:14, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"On April 22, 2010, Ray Gordy..."

[edit]

Whoever wrote this text "On April 22, 2010, Ray Gordy was released from his WWE contract which is really harsh because WWE are cunts." is a cunt themselves. That is so innaproate and needs to be taken off. I will do that myself. Gibsonj338 (talk) 19:04, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Other Media

[edit]

It says in this section that Ray Gordy is in Smackdown v Raw 2011 as Slam Master J. Nowhere does Slam Master J appear in the game. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.238.150.0 (talk) 17:00, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Ray Gordy

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Ray Gordy's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 04:20, 9 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ray GordyJesse (wrestler) – Ray Gordy isn't really notable for anything he's done outside of WWE. I think that "Jesse (wrestler)" is the name his article should be at. GeicoHen (talk) 02:11, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Opponse He had the same poor success as Slam Master J. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 11:51, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
