Place of consecration
[edit]This article says he was consecrated at Wilton Abbey however English Heritage says it was at St Mary's Church, Wilton.— Rod talk 12:26, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
- Hm... the Fasti (which is where the Wilton comes from) is just saying "Wilton" not Abbey. We can go with just plain "Wilton" and link to the town or we can go with the church. Ealdgyth - Talk 13:10, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
- I would say go with the town - having done some further reading it appears the church and convent were closely associated.— Rod talk 17:39, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
Possible Unnoticed Vandalism
[edit]Someone put this into the text "He was also notable for having one of the largest members of any bishop of the time, with a diameter of over 3 inches." It is not referenced and seems to be vandalism. It has been there since February. I'm removing it as it does not add to the stub. If it needs to go back, feel free to put it back.
