[edit]Please help to write this article. He was a lovely man and very famous. Welshmagician (talk) 09:26, 13 May 2009 (UTC) Thank you, thank you, thank you voceditore! He is dead and anyway would never have been able to make such a page. I hope people who knew him can add more. Welshmagician (talk) 18:58, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
I run the website of the North Wales Magic Circle, and there are a few references to Rovi in our records. I'm not sure how they should be incorporated into the Wiki page, so I'll just list the links here for someone who knows how to add them. Sarah.

The comment above was from me - I'm just starting to learn how to add to Wiki, so I won't edit the article yet, but if I can provide any information about Rovi, just ask. Papillion Magique (talk) 23:22, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

– Sorry, but I think that current usage of "Rovi" is dominated by the company, or at least that the magician is not the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC meaning of the term. For example, we've had 1040 views in the last 90 days for the magician and 16,454 for the company. Given the heavily lopsided ratio, probably most of the views for the magician are from people looking for the company. That unfortunately also seems to be true about the incoming Wikilinks. —BarrelProof (talk) 23:11, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
- Support. The corporation seems to be the primary topic based on the BarrelProof's numbers; and the wikilink issue is a big one, inconveniencing readers who click on a link only to be brought to the wrong article. TJRC (talk) 00:44, 10 January 2015 (UTC)
- Support moving the magician article. Rovi Corporation should be the primary topic of the term "Rovi" regardless of what title the article sits at. —Xezbeth (talk) 06:40, 10 January 2015 (UTC)
- Per WP:NCCORP, we usually omit "Corporation", "Incorporated", and similar suffixes from the titles of articles about companies, unless useful for WP:NATURAL disambiguation. Here, we seem to have a primary topic for "Rovi", so it does not seem desirable to keep the article at "Rovi Corporation". —BarrelProof (talk) 20:24, 10 January 2015 (UTC)
- Support both moves per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Softlavender (talk) 09:04, 14 January 2015 (UTC)
