Reassessment
[edit]Came here via the reassessment request in the talk page template. I'm leaving this as a Start-class- and a low Start at that. Some suggestions for improvement are below.
- There are numerous grammar errors in the article ("was released in May 2015 for iOS Android and the Windows Phone") and odd wordings ("The person who released the original Snake game onto Nokia phones in 1997 and 1998 (Taneli Armanto) partnered" - why not just "Taneli Armanto, the original creator of the Snake game for Nokia phones in 1997, partnered")
- Gameplay should have enough information for the reader to understand how the game works, even if they haven't played Snake.
- There should be a development section- you have development information in the lead that's not present in the actual article.
- The lead should be a summary of the article; there should not be information in the lead that is not present in the article itself, and the lead should summarize the whole article, not just part
- Reception is currently just a bunch of single-sentence paragraphs. Rewrite to be a flowing paragraph(s).
- Add the article to some categories- check out other apps for example categories, like "2015 video game". --PresN 18:38, 3 June 2015 (UTC)
- @PresN: thanks for all the ideas, I've added some categories and I'll do the rest later. --Anarchyte 22:05, 3 June 2015 (UTC)
- I'd call it a C now- the lead still doesn't summarize all the sections, and some of the wording could be better, but the main problem with it is just the lack of content- it's a very short article. This may be the limit of it, though, if there's no other sources out there. --PresN 15:43, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
