Work needed on this article[edit]

I deleted a lot of unsourced verbiage that sounded like a vanity article. Please review WP:LIVING and WP:VAIN. It's unnecessary in this case, since S. Gammell is a notable illustrator. If other editors want to put some of the info back, it would seem more encyclopedic with some cites of verifiable sources. See WP:V. Also, the article would be better with an author infobox (e.g., Stephen King), and a complete bibliography. Tomcool 00:41, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The bio says he died in a car accident. I did a brief web search and found no articles to back this up. The claim of his death sounds questionable: "His body was badly mutilated". Fair use rationale for Image:Scary Stories 3 book cover.jpg[edit]

Image:Scary Stories 3 book cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Stephen Gammell recent edit[edit]

Someone seems to have jumped on our network through a mobile device and made changes to this article (which an editor rightly reversed.) We received a message today from a Wikipedia editor. At our household no one has visited this page. We want to make sure some one is not misusing or stealing our internet service or using our IP address, or that we haven't been hacked, and hope other edits haven't been made.
