Anybody have a source on that re-release claim on the XX-4? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gabrill (talkcontribs) 22:59, 7 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Team LosiLosi – Since the sale to Horizon Hobby, all of the brand's non-sporting models are branded Losi whilst all of its sporting models are rebranded TLR (Team Losi Racing) Donnie Park (talk) 17:40, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • The reason as I pointed out is that Losi as its now called don't brand their products Team Losi anymore, not since they became a mainstream brand; they call their competitive arm TLR, even the race results and announcers such as LiveRC call them that. All their mainstream products are branded Losi, you can visit their official website and the first thing you see is the Losi brand. Donnie Park (talk) 18:26, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Then how about renaming it to Losi (toy brand)? Or just merge it into Hobby Lobby Horizon Hobby? There is currently no indication that the brand is notable. —BarrelProof (talk) 03:12, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • The destination is occupied by a different page, which according to what you've requested, is to be merged onto this page. There is nothing in your request to show why we should make this the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Therefore the requested name is not justified, as it contains no disambiguatory material. Further, the splitting of the brand in two, TLR and Losi, does not show that this brand article should be renamed at all, since it can be used to indicate a defunct brand, while two new articles are created for TLR and Losi, since by your own statement, the brand was split in two. -- 70.51.44.60 (talk) 06:01, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: This seems to be a malformed multimove request, as the proposed destination name is already occupied. No notification of this proposal that will affect that page has yet been placed on the Talk page of the other article, which seems improper. —BarrelProof (talk) 03:12, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Merge to Horizon Hobby (1 November 2015)

Done Team LosiHorizon Hobby 1 November 2015

Since the article was only one sentence long and the company didn't seem very notable (and no longer exists as a distinct company), I moved that sentence into the Horizon Hobby article and redirected this title to that article. —BarrelProof (talk) 18:36, 1 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Revert back to a Team Losi page

[edit]

Just because an editor doesn't know RC history doesn't make this not a notable entry? Seriously how are you rating something as notable? Even as defunct brand name it is still notable. They changed names, they didn't cease operation. So there should at least be a TLR page or Losi page, not a redirect into nothing. There isn't huge web site dedicated to its history for no reason. Vintagelosi.com

Previous entry says they don't exist as a company, this is false. A simple google search will reveal that. This whole change is just crazy. If you don't know the subject maybe changes should be made by people who do or consult with people who know.

All their main competitors have entries, Kyosho, Team Associated, and Traxxas. I just find this so odd how this change was made. Makes me suspect something else is going on.

Oh now I see why, Donnie Park was making changes. Axe to grind it looks like from Google searches on Donnie Park— Preceding unsigned comment added by Ynosprime (talkcontribs) 21:44, 31 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please see WP:GNG. —BarrelProof (talk) 21:49, 31 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes and name some requirement they don't meet and I will prove you wrong. They have been around since the 80's and published in thousands of magazines. Patents for products. Sponsored Indy cars, computer games licensed by them. So name one requirement they don't meet.
I will go farther up the Wikipedia process and raise big stink if I have to. This is either a bogus edit or uneducated edit.
This page use to have lots of content and then was just wiped clean.
Your comment they no longer exist as a distinct company is also false.
Funny how there is an entry for Team Losi RC Racer and a bunch of other Team Losi products but nothing for parent company.:2600:6C46:6880:7174:843C:EE89:DA58:70DD (talk) 13:59, 3 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Whoops I seem to have walked into this an accidentally recreated the page and moving it onto TLR before noticing the talk. I was amazed every other World Championship winning brand had a page an not Losi and I wanted to link all my new World Championship pages to it. Personally I think the solution is to better populate this page else the argument to remerge it will start again. Yachty4000 (talk) 04:22, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like we are going to have to integrate the losi page onto the Horizon page for reasons I don't understand given how many other brands have pages. Yachty4000 (talk) 20:36, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
