False "public domain" statement

[edit]

Support for Terminus has long since ended however, the source code was released into the public domain and has been improved and enhanced.

This is false. Terminus is still closed source, and covered by copyright laws. The source code has been licensed to TerminusPoint's author, who has signed a NDA. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.108.0.41 (talk) 13:00, 21 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Babylon 5?

[edit]

Many characteristics of this game seem inspired by the TV series Babylon 5, for example groundbreaking implementation of Newtonian physics for space flight, space stations shape, jumpgates (with similar sound effects), and storyline (Mars revolution, Earth politics and scemings). Is there a record about if and how the makers were inspired by Babylon 5? -- megA (talk) 11:15, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Unique" feature?

[edit]

"One unique feature of Terminus is the story would progress with or without the player."

Not so unique... Frontier: First Encounters (Elite3) did it in 1995. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.11.63.182 (talk) 16:10, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
