Shreck[edit]

Who in God's name is Shreck? -Toptomcat 15:31, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good question - I suspect something needs saying about that as I assumed it meant Shrek which was confusing (that section also has original research issues - with Jeepers Creepers). But it is a character created for the Shadowline series/saga. Have a read down the reference given in the section - it has some more details (although lacking a good overview of the character). Earth-616 or Earth-88194[edit]

Has Marvel, having specified that the two characters are in fact one and the same, given any explaination as to how he was able to travel from one Earth to the other, or for that matter which Earth is his home Earth?--RedKnight

Fair use rationale for Image:Marvtu016.jpg[edit]

Image:Marvtu016.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Article Name Needs to be Changed[edit]

The name of the article should be changed since it is more about the Marvel comics character Terror (Not the 40's character of the same name) than it is about the comic series Terror Inc. It just seems a bit misleading when the article's title refers to the comic series and not the character itself which the article devotes most of its information on.--Paleface Jack (talk) 18:45, 12 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 20 August 2015[edit]

The result of the move request was: no consensus. Reasonable opposition has not been addressed. Jenks24 (talk) 16:59, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Terror Inc.Terror (character) – This article has more information on the central character of the series rather than the comic book series itself, so this content should be moved into its own separated article on the character. • Oppose The character is already indicated on the Terror (disambiguation) page as occupying Terror (Marvel Comics) so that should be the proper title to rename the page to, as there are multiple characters named "Terror" per the disambiguation page. Further, it seems like a split is in line instead of a move. -- 67.70.32.190 (talk) 04:58, 21 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Citation[edit]

This article is poorly referenced and needs more citations for its information. Much of the article's information is unsourced and needs to be given proper citations for its information. The lead is also too short and needs to be expanded.--Paleface Jack (talk) 01:21, 20 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Move Request Attempt 2[edit]

  • Failed*

So I'm going to make a second attempt at moving this article. Reason being the article is more about the Terror character than the organization. Another reason that we should think about moving this to an article titled Terror (Marvel comics) is due to this fact. I also read the opposition of my previous attempt to get this article moved and I will say this: The other character in Marvel comics with the same name is NOT its own article rather it's a part of a list of MINOR characters in the Marvel comics universe. Another reasoning for this is that the other character made only a few appearanced and only when Marvel was named Timely Comics. The move of this article to Terror (Marvel comics) seems more appropriate to me because of its overall structure.--Paleface Jack (talk) 16:39, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Clarifacation[edit]

After the end of this failed second attempt I realize that I should have made the issue clearer. Although the article's lead clearly establishes that its on the comic series, the rest of the article is unarguably on the character and certainly NOT on the comic series. I guess detractors of the move don't realize this but articles on comic book series should be about the series rather than the character in the series which this article fits into the latter. I'm fine with there being a separate article on the character made, but this article really needs a rewrite so that it focuses on the series and information on the character transferred to its own article.--Paleface Jack 23:39, 30 December 2017 (UTC)

Terror Inc.Terror (Marvel Comics) – The article is structured around the Terror character rather than the comic series it's currently titled after. Paleface Jack (talk) 16:50, 13 December 2017 (UTC) --Relisting. feminist (talk) 09:27, 22 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose Article is clearly about the comic series, fancruft notwithstanding. Anyway, moving fancruft to a new location still makes it fancruft and unsuitable for an article.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 03:14, 14 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose the article is clearly about the comic book the title doesn't have to have Marvel Comic in it because reading the article lets you know that 2602:304:28AB:9EE0:B404:E174:35E:75AD (talk) 22:00, 22 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - Article is clearly about the character, as indicated by the use of infobox character instead of infobox series, the presence of a FCB section instead of a plot section, the inclusion of additional appearances after the miniseries in the publication history, and the section discussing other versions of the character. The article may be crufty, but its name does not match the subject being presented. Argento Surfer (talk) 13:40, 28 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
