Terry Chimes' date and place of birth

[edit]

Terry Chimes' date and place of birth are shown as January 25, 1955 in London district Mile End in the biography The Clash / introduction by Paul Du Noyer. - London : Virgin, 1997. - 93p : ill. - (Virgin modern icons). - ISBN 1852276045 (see online schedule). Also the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Cleveland, Ohio, talks about January 25, 1955 (see [1]). Both sources seem to be quite reliable. I think the Black Sabbath fan website laid a false trail (see [2]). Unfortunately Terry Chimes gives no email address on his Chiropractic homepage, but his phone (020 8989 3330) and fax number (020 8532 2827). Perhaps some Wikipedia London residents are able to contact Mr. Chimes in order to clear up this burning question where doubt continues to exist? --Bogart99 13:21, 23 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

There is no birth of a Terence Chimes listed in England & Wales in 1955 on FreeBMD.org. But there is the birth of a Terence Chimes registered in the July-Aug-Sept quarter of 1956 in Stepney in east London. Births sometimes are registered late but 18 months is a very long delay.

Fair use rationale for Image:ClashWithTerryChimes100Club.jpg

[edit]

Image:ClashWithTerryChimes100Club.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
