Toyonaka → Toyonaka, Osaka – recent move removed "Osaka", but WPMOS on Japanese places outside major cities (Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Hiroshima, Yokohama... is that they use the prefecture name whether they are the primary topic or not Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 05:00, 25 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose Per WP:PRECISE (MOS:JPPLACE doesn't appear to require disambiguation unless needed) and WP:2DABPRIMARY it gets way more views, [[1]], is more significant and has more than 30x the population of Toyonaka, Kagawa, which didn't even have a hatnote until I just added one. Oppose Note that some core cities of Japan, such as Kanazawa, Nagasaki, Higashiōsaka, Matsue have remained at the undisambiguated title for years. Coupled with the two previous RMs removing the prefecture which was closed as move, I consider there to be consensus that the prefecture does not need to be included in the title unless disambiguation is required. feminist (talk) 03:56, 26 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose per above WP:PRECISE and WP:CONCISE. Adding the prefecture is overly precise, and incorrectly implies there is another use of Toyonaka. --В²C ☎ 17:24, 31 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yes but this one is primary for the name "Toyonaka" so per WP:PRECISE it should be at the base name, however you're correct that we do still have 2 "Toyonaka"s. Crouch, Swale (talk) 08:23, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
