Merger proposal[edit]

I propose that Viki (website) be merged into Viki (company). Viki (website) is a stub of a fully developed article at Viki (company). The company article appears comprehensive, and a redirect merge would be appropriate. 94.242.205.220 (talk) 03:48, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[1], Website gets 146 views/day, Viki (operetta) 1/day, Viki, Estonia 2/day. Timmyshin (talk) 02:54, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose no long term significance, highly localized to Singapore, no primary subject here. In ictu oculi (talk) 08:31, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • If you even read the article, Viki has "35 million monthly active users and 25 million mobile users", how could it be "highly localized to Singapore" (5 million people)? But knowing you, you will oppose any primary topic request even if it means giving bogus reasons, no matter how blatantly. Timmyshin (talk) 21:47, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
(A) It is highly localized to Singapore: https://www.viki.com/ and (B) is not of more long term encyclopedic significance than all other subjects combined. In ictu oculi (talk) 07:44, 5 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - All those listed at Viki can easily be the PRIMARYTOPIC, This crappy website is no where near PRIMARY standards. –Davey2010Talk 16:25, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Viki (website)Viki (streaming service) – Looking at Category:Internet television streaming services, it seems the consistent disambiguation used in such cases is "streaming service". Gonnym (talk) 09:41, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
