Proposal to move

[edit]

The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: Moved to Weissenfels Castle as the evidence submitted establishes that this is the common name. DavidLeighEllis (talk) 01:48, 17 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Bela Peč CastleWeißenfels Castle – The historical name is 'Weißenfels'; as the castle stood in the territory of what is today Italy and was property of Austrian nobility, there is no need to use the Slovene name. --Relisted. • Support; either the anglicized historical name (Weißenfels Castle or Weissenfels Castle) or the anglicized Italian name (Fusine Castle, as the current location) should take precedence over the Slovene name in this case. Doremo (talk) 17:30, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion so a clearer consensus may be reached.
Relisting comment: Would anyone like to provide a rationale (for whatever title), which is based on Wikipedia's policy on article titles? So far I don't see any reference to WP:COMMONNAME.
Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 20:16, 9 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Support move to Weissenfels Castle (not Weißenfels Castle) per this, as opposed to this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Peacemaker67 (talkcontribs) 12:28, 15 April 2014‎

Wrong position

[edit]

Either the position according to the article is wrong, or there are more than one Weissenfels Castle. According to http://mapire.eu/en/map/firstsurvey/?bbox=1512612.352735353%2C5856511.949581982%2C1526237.2530271856%2C5864853.140293601 it seems to be located on the Monte Castello near Fusine in Val Romana, previously known as Weissenfels.
