sources needed
[edit]no sources are cited within this article. Furthermore, much of the information provided in this article seems to be the authors opinion and not fact. Saying something like, "obvious influence by anime and manga" is the opinion of the author of the article and not the artist. -Chad Q.
In Influences, it states Nara never claimed to use anime/manga as influences, so that paragraph should be removed. 005926215jrc (talk) 03:17, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
removal
[edit]I have removed the paragraph:
"Nara’s own explanation of his work, then, casts us as the aggressors guilty of betraying and attacking childhood innocence. When cast in that light, Nara incriminates himself as well, for his art is above all based upon the perversion of otherwise innocent subjects."
This is not only a critical opinion of the author, it seems to completely miss the point of the previous quote in the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rmary1998 (talk • contribs) 15:15, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Favoritism in the article
[edit]I removed a link to Google Image search result of Yoshitomo Nara because doing so shows favoritism towards Google as a search engine. Don't get me wrong. I'm a fan of Google but I think as a Encyclopedia we should avoid favoritism. - —Preceding unsigned comment added by Binaryscape (talk • contribs)
