In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game, the tentamort is a type of aberration.

Publication history

The tentamort first appeared in the original first edition Fiend Folio (1981).[1]

The tentamort appeared in second edition for the Greyhawk setting in the Monstrous Compendium Greyhawk Appendix (1990).[2]

Description

A tentamort is a dark blue creature with a conical body covered in angry red eyes and numerous tentacles, two of which are longer than the rest. A tentamort attacks with poison that causes nausea.

Other publishers

The tentamort appeared in the Tome of Horrors (2002) from Necromancer Games.[3]

The tentamort appeared in Paizo Publishing's book Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Bestiary 2 (2010), on page 261.[4]
