Ultrafidian Center is an Apostolic Oneness Pentecostal church settled in Victorias, Negros Occidental. Ultrafidian Center[1] [2] is among the churches that carries the doctrine of monotheistic Christianity and has observed the principles of righteous living among its believers.

History[edit]

In 1989, the congregation of believers in Victorias was aspired to look for an available pastor. As far as the former presbyter of western visayas was concerned, Arthur Salaver from Talisay, Negros Occidental was preordained. Arthur Salaver was a student of Bible college and had completed his biblical studies at Baguio Evangelism Academy of Ministries[3].

Later on, the Presbyter, introduced Arthur Salaver to preach one-time to the congregation of Victorias and as the result, Arthur gained the entire support of the believers. Finally, Arthur took possession of the church's pastoral vacancy upon pastoral installation. Since then pastor Arthur held the leadership over the believers of the church.

In 2014, the church adopted the name “ultrafidian[4]” and eventually became Ultrafidian Center. The church went through difficult challenges but the word ultrafidian[5] will keep reminding the church to surge its faith in God.

Beliefs[edit]

Ultrafidian Center believers adheres the doctrine of the Bible and its stand as a Christian Monotheistic church. The church concludes that salvation comes from a person's faith in God (Ephesians 2:8-9)[6], repentance of one's sin (Acts 3:19[7]), water baptism in the name of Jesus[8] (Acts 2[9], John 3:5[10]), baptism of the Holy Spirit[11] (John 3:5[10]) and righteous living (Hebrews 12:14[12]) in order to obtain salvation.

Leadership[edit]

Chief Executive Minister[edit]

Pastor Arthur Salaver[13][14] serves as the lead pastor of Ultrafidian Center since its official launching on June 16, 2019. During the new administration, he became the new chief executive minister of the church whereas he appointed Harvey Duenas as the pioneering administrator of the church. In more than thirty years of pastoring the congregation, pastor Arthur became the former section secretary for fifteen years. Later, pastor Arthur Salaver[15] was elected as one of the presbyters of section one in western Visayas district, under the United Pentecostal Church Philippines[16].

Church Administrator[edit]

In June 16, 2019, Harvey Duenas[17] was commissioned to be the administrator of the church. Harvey is responsible for monitoring the church affairs and activities on his successful academic[18] and spiritual attainment.

Harvey is a native of Victorias and had accepted Christ in 2002 following his baptism of the Holy Spirit in 2003. In 2011, he began his ministry as the youth president of Ultrafidian Center while maintaining his seamanship as mariner. In 2012, he married Leonor of Talisay and started a family in Parañaque. Harvey is curently the church administrator on which he oversees the church's affairs.

Gospel Crusade[edit]

Ultrafidian Crusaders[edit]

Ultrafidian Crusaders[19] (formerly Jesus is the Answer Crusaders[20] ), is a ministry of Ultrafidian Center developed in 2007. This ministry involves evangelization and worship in public spaces around the twenty-one barangays[21]of Victorias City. This group of ministry is composed of volunteers who travels out of town to perform concert-crusades[22].
