I am not vandalizing. I am putting legitimate pictures that really embody senioritis. Senioritis causes you to play video games, be on your phone, and sleep on your desk rather than do your work. These are real pictures. I vandalized the Frodo article but the edits to senioritis are real. Ok. Here's the deal. I will tentatively unblock your account. You will either a) go do your homework, or b) pick a couple of pictures that are VERY relevant to the article. Loading a fairly short article with lot of minimally applicable photos starts to look like vandalism after a while. Create thoughtful and meaningful captions for each one that you add. Choose the very best you can find. Since the article is talking about something that is mainly teen or young adult-related, see if you can find pix with either no people, or people of an appropriate age. Ok. Fine. It was all me. I lied. But try to understand why I vandalize. I am a postmodernist. I belive that the ultimate evil of the world is imposing your own truth on others as absolute. Consider the ultimate realities of the universe. Many theistic apologists, from Islam to Christianity use the Kalam Cosmological argument to argue that the universe must have had an ultimate cause. The premises go like this: Whatever begins to exist has a cause The universe began to exist Therefore the universe has a cause Think about the logic of these principles. First we must say that whatever begins to exist has a cause. This premise is self explanatory and accepted by virtually every scientist and philosopher. The most controversial premise in this syllogism is that the universe began to exist. For many hundreds of years, scientists have believed the universe to exist into eternity past. However, several scientific truths tell us otherwise. The law of entropy tells us that everything is moving towards a greater state of disorder, so if this principle holds true there must have been a time past when all of the universe expanded out of a single point. Also red light shifting tells us that the universe is expanding, which lends itself to the fact of a beginning when the universe began to expand. Saying that the universe has existed into eternity past is also illogical. Infinity is an impossible concept. If you set a stopwatch and allow it to run indefinitely it will never reach infinity. If we are at the present moment and the universe existed into eternity past, we must have traversed an infinite amount of time to arrive at the present moment. This is impossible by definition of infinity. \ If this tells us that the universe began to exist, we are logically led to the fact that it must have a cause. Muslims and Christians along with deists all take this further to say a God must have created the universe. We have no evidence of this though. So we don't know how the universe started and whether there is any order or truth at all. We don't know whether we even exist or whether principles of logic even truly work. In essence, looking out to the stars causes the entire realm of truth to collapse around us. We don't know anything. We are on a rock flying through the middle of emptiness and we don't even know if that is true. All is vanity and a striving after the wind There is no truth. All the evils and wars that surround us are a result of people trying to impose their truth on each other. Hitler tried to impose naziism, Stalin and Mao tried to impose marxism. Trump and Biden both try to impose their narratives of far right populism and far leftism. We need to stop imposing truth. When I vandalize wikipedia, it is to protest against truth. When we abandon truth and live for the moment and for our hearts, society will radically change. Wars will cease and we will live in paradise. Humanity must continue to evolve and change. Unblock me and join me in abandoning the false perception of truth. If truth is real it is the most valuable riches ever found. If a God is real he is the most amazing thing to be sought.
