"Based on the same name"
[edit]You have been asked repeatedly under various IPs to discuss your edits. Your edits, including "based on the same name", simply do not make sense.
As previously, you will need to discuss the issue either here, on an article's talk page or on my talk page before you continue. Otherwise, your edits will continue to be reverted. - SummerPhDv2.0 01:04, 20 March 2017 (UTC)

.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Ronhjones (Talk) 16:55, 30 April 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Ōigawa Railway, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. -- DAJF (talk) 14:36, 12 February 2018 (UTC)

National varieties of English
[edit]Hello. In a recent edit to the page Thomas & Friends (series 11), you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to India, use Indian English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Ireland, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. SummerPhDv2.0 03:01, 16 February 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Thomas & Friends (series 15). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Per WP:ENGVAR, this article is about a British show, so we use British English. SummerPhDv2.0 03:06, 16 February 2018 (UTC)

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Thomas & Friends (series 16), you may be blocked from editing. Please discuss the issues. British shows use British English. Compound words are legitimate words. Breaking them up changes the meaning of the sentence. SummerPhDv2.0 03:08, 16 February 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Abelmoschus Esculentus. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to 1999— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. ~ Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 00:39, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Asterisk. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. ~ Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 00:40, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at 2016, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. ~ Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 00:41, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make disruptive edits to Wikipedia contrary to the Manual of Style, as you did at Plus_and_minus_signs. ~ Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 00:41, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
Many articles start with a list of alternative names for the topic, such as 2 and two, or photograph and photo. Please do not change these words into links, as that would only lead the reader back to the same page again. Thanks, Certes (talk) 00:57, 9 June 2018 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
