Information icon Hello, I'm Discospinster. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Rafael Advanced Defense Systems have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. ... discospinster talk 23:49, 9 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
To edit, please log in.

Editing by unregistered users from your shared IP address or address range may be currently disabled due to abuse. However, you are still able to edit if you sign in with an account. If you are currently blocked from creating an account, and cannot create one elsewhere in the foreseeable future, you may follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Request an account to request that volunteers create your username for you. Please use an email address issued to you by your ISP, school or organization so that we may verify that you are a legitimate user on this network. Please reference this block in the comment section of the form.

Please check on this list that the username you choose has not already been taken. We apologize for any inconvenience. ... discospinster talk 23:50, 9 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Sorry but I was just taking direct action against Elbit Systems by vandalising their pages. I promise that this won't happen again. Can I please have another chance?

Decline reason:

You'll need to do a much more thorough job of convincing us that you'll only make constructive edits if you're unblocked. It might help your case if you gave specific examples of constructive edits you'd make. —C.Fred (talk) 23:56, 9 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • In this edit, you added this: "Palestine Action is a pro-Palestinian protest network that uses civil disobedience tactics to shut down and disrupt multinational arms dealers. In particular, the group targets UK-based operations that provide weapons used in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict." That is an inappropriate use of Wikipedia, which is an independent encyclopedia with absolutely no connection to any weapons corporation. If this is the sort of edits you wish to make, then Wikipedia isn't the place for you. The same would be true for a pro-Israel activist who vandalized articles in the same manner. See What Wikipedia is not for further information. BilCat (talk) 00:20, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for making me aware. All I can say is that I genuinely didn't mean to cause this level of disruption. I'm sorry but I was genuinely unaware of this. I thought that you were trying to aid Elbit by acting as a media outlet for them. It won't happen again. 80.44.26.184 (talk) 01:01, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

If you do not promptly unblock me, I will have absolutely no choice but to sue Wikimedia in order to get my editing rights back.

Decline reason:

As per WP:NLT, you personally are no longer permitted to edit Wikipedia until your legal action is fully complete or until you completely withdraw your legal threat. Yamla (talk) 15:47, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, I'm sorry. I copy and pasted that legal threat for a laugh. I am not seriously intending to take legal action. Are you able to lift that ban and restore the original block length please? Thanks. 80.44.26.184 (talk) 15:50, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What accounts, if any, have you used? --Yamla (talk) 15:53, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
None. 80.44.26.184 (talk) 15:54, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As this is a lie, I will not be lifting this block. --Yamla (talk) 15:55, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you are going to accuse me of lying, then what socks are you accusing me of using? 80.44.26.184 (talk) 15:57, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not playing this game. The time for you to be honest was before you were caught in a lie. I'm not responding further. --Yamla (talk) 15:58, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this IP address or network has been used to disrupt Wikipedia. It has been blocked from editing to prevent further abuse.
If you are not the intended target of this block, please read the information below in order to receive assistance.
Wikipedia tries to be open, but we sometimes must block IP addresses to prevent editing by abusers, vandals, or block evaders. These blocks can affect users who have done nothing wrong. If you are a legitimate user, follow the instructions below to edit despite the block. Users who are the intended target of a range block may still appeal the block.

IP users (without an account): If you do not have an account and wish to bypass this block, an account can be created to allow you to edit. In general, these blocks only prevent users who are not logged in from editing; once you are logged in, the block will no longer affect you in any way. Please request an account under your preferred username. It is important that you use an e-mail address issued to you by your ISP, school, or organisation, so we may verify that you are a legitimate user. If using the form, please refer to this block under "comments". If e-mailing, please refer to this block in your message.

Registered users (with an account): Please make sure you are logged in to your account. If you are unable to edit while logged in, you may request IP block exemption to bypass blocks unconnected with you that affect your editing. Post an unblock request to your user talk page.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
