Please unprotect or make the following changes:

  • Remove entry at first section "More mature, sensible, realistic thoughts and actions"; this essentially uses the term itself as it's own definition.
  • Standardize the ending of each item it that list; eg. period terminator or open-ended (period preferred).
  • Mark the text "Many schools attempt to develop these feelings" with the 'weasel-inline' maintenance template; (no reference provided).
  • Mark the text "Preteens are known for" with the 'weasel-inline' maintenance template.

Thanks, Jerry 03:37, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the page does not seem to note the fact that it is protected (i.e. with {{Pp-dispute}}). And, "job" should not be capitalized. I assume preteens do not have Job aspirations. --Eliyak T·C 01:57, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Page reversion[edit]

On User talk:Bobo192, AndonicO said:
Thanks for reverting my talk page. Quite interesting what those vandals say.

No problem - vandals are pretty much going on a spree tonight, it's sort of frustrating that these things happen but hey, anything to keep me awake at 3am on a Wednesday morning! Bobo. 01:49, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

On User talk:Bobo192, AndonicO said:
Ah, you've got me beat: earliest I've edited is 3:30 AM. Maybe tomorrow I'll wake up at 2.

Blame British summer time... or my fiancée, whichever is quickest! Seems like nobody has gotten up to any strange activity on your talk page for the time being, though I did just have to visit his contribs and revert some more... we'll see what happens. I have heard both sides of that (blocked, banned). Is there a WP page which states it? Obviously it is good to leave the productive edits, which is why I didn't remove them. - Rjd0060 14:00, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for that page. Really clears things up. I didn't understand what you meant by this comment, but I got it now. - Rjd0060 14:11, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

About the graphic cards for crysis[edit]

So, should i add a second 7900GS or switch to the 8800gts 320mb? Cuz i can't spend a lot on 2 8800gts in SLI —Preceding unsigned comment added by 148.202.47.43 (talk) 18:05, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm new to going on talk pages, please forgive me if I didnt reply to you correctly-- I think the ingle 8800gts will be better than two 7900gses in SLI. It'll probably pull less power, too. 71.249.93.141 02:33, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:CCABTF-boxart.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:CCABTF-boxart.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 20:32, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, AndonicO, for supporting my RfB, which I withdrew at a final tally of (33/12/1). Hello Andonic. You've just blocked two users reported to WP:AIV whose block requests I was about to decline. None of them is currently active/has vandalized after a last warning. I do not recommend blocking such users, as doing so encourages further reports to WP:AIV of users whom have not been properly warned and whose warnings have not been transgressed. This is not a rant. :-) Best regards, Húsönd 19:46, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Heh, don't worry, Wikipedia is like riding a bike. Soon enough you'll be back on track. :-) Best regards, Húsönd 19:54, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You protected a page for an inappropriate reason[edit]

Why did you protect the talk page for 64.221.248.17?

You stated "IP continually blanks own talk page" which is clearly allowed in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Talk_page_guidelines#Others.27_comments

Excessive block length[edit]

30 years? That's an excessive block for what's probably just some teenager goofing around. This effectively tells someone that they're never welcomed back here. Why did you feel that such a long block length was necessary? Tijuana Brass (talk) 15:42, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Heh, if I can inspire an unintentional template review, then I feel validated. My concern is just that it shuts out the possibility of the editor to reform under their original username (well, at least for 30 years. maybe middle age'll straighten him out...).
Anyway, no need for me to belabor my point any further. Thanks for the heads up on test5, which I didn't realize either. Tijuana Brass (talk) 20:00, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merry Christmas[edit]

Darwinek wishes you a Merry Christmas!

Hi! I wish you a Merry Christmas and all the best in the new year. - Darwinek (talk) 11:45, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

League of Copyeditors roll call
Greetings from the League of Copyeditors. Your name is listed on our members page, but we are unsure how many of the people listed there are still active contributors to the League's activities. If you are still interested in participating in the work of the League, please follow the instructions at the members page to add your name to the active members list. Once you have done that, you might want to familiarise yourself with the new requests system, which has replaced the old /proofreading subpage. As the old system is now deprecated, the main efforts of the League should be to clear the substantial backlog which still exists there.
The League's services are in as high demand as ever, as evinced by the increasing backlog on our requests pages, both old and new. While FA and GA reviewers regularly praise the League's contributions to reviewed articles, we remain perennially understaffed. Fulfilling requests to polish the prose of Wikipedia's highest-profile articles is a way that editors can make a very noticeable difference to the appearance of the encyclopedia. On behalf of the League, if you do consider yourself to have left, I hope you will consider rejoining; if you consider yourself inactive, I hope you will consider returning to respond to just one request per week, or as many as you can manage. Merry Christmas and happy editing, The League of Copyeditors.

Merry Christmas[edit]
