God
[edit]Perhaps there are too many links in that welcome message for you to have read them all yet. May I suggest you begin with WP:NPOV. KillerChihuahua?!? 20:56, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
Hello
[edit]I've noticed you've been creating a lot of Ghost Whisperer articles and I'm happy to see someone else so dedicted to the show. But truth be told, there are too many articles on characters and they're not considered noble enough for their own article on Wikipedia. So instead of creating entire articles, I was wondering if you were interested in working with me on creating other article that acts as a list of dead and alive characters. The other individual articles could be deleted after. Just a suggestion, though.

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on U.Z.Z., by Erechtheus (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because U.Z.Z. is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting U.Z.Z., please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it did not nominate U.Z.Z. itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 00:13, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
U.Z.Z.Part 1 (Pascal.Tesson)
[edit]You're correct, U.Z.Z. should not be deleted on accusations of spam. Someone mistakenly tagged it but I've removed these tags. I am however concerned about the usefullness of that article. It should probably be merged into the article The Secret Show. If you need any advice on doing that, please let me know on my talk page. Cheers, Pascal.Tesson 02:41, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, I've went ahead and made the merger. Pascal.Tesson 02:47, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
- Well you're welcome but please avoid aggressive talk like this. People make mistakes but they do so in good faith and no harm was done in the end. On a completely unrelated note, I'm not sure I'm too comfortable with your userpage mentioning me. I just do what I do to help the project move forward and I'm happy I was able to help but please consider removing that bit from your userpage. Best, Pascal.Tesson 04:30, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
U.Z.Z.Part 2 (Erechtheus)
[edit]I thought the article read like spam. Obviously, the adminastrator who acted on the template did not agree, and I have no quarrel with that. Anything else I can help you with? Erechtheus 01:17, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
Who runs Wikipedia
[edit]In response to your question to Android Mouse (talk · contribs): No one person runs Wikipedia. The nominal highest authority is the http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Board_of_Trustees . The closest thing to a single person (dictator) is its founder Jimbo Wales (talk · contribs). However, I would not advise you to bother these people. They are very busy. Instead, why not contact an administrator with your problem. The administrators can be found at Category:Wikipedia administrators. JRSpriggs 06:01, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
No worries
[edit]I do thank you for the comment and apology, but I didn't take offense. I'm sorry this is how we met, but I'm sure we can get past all of that if we have additional interactions from here on out. Let me know if I can help you out with anything in the future, and good luck with your editing and the rest of your vacation. Erechtheus 00:44, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
Fair use image use
[edit]On 5 July 2007, I removed Image:Democratslogo.svg from your userpage. This image is a copyrighted image and is used under terms of fair use on Wikipedia. Per Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria item #9, the use of such images outside of the main article namespace is not permitted. Thus, use on a userpage is not permitted. Subsequent to this, you re-added the image on 17 July 2007. I've re-removed the image. Please do not put the image back on your userpage as this is a direct violation of our policies. If you have questions about this, I'd be happy to answer. Thanks, --Durin 14:13, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- I've removed two more fair use images (Image:Yankees cap logo.PNG and Image:NLMetsIcon.gif) from your userpage subsequent to your placing them on your userpage [1]. Please do not place copyrighted, fair use images on your userpage, as this violates our policy on fair use usage. See WP:NFCC item #9.
- Also, I've removed the semi-protection icon from your userpage since your userpage is not semi-protected and this is inappropriate usage. Thank you, --Durin 13:48, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
- I heartily encourage you to bring as many people as you think you can get to support your position. I would be very happy to help educate them on the policy forbidding the use of fair use images on userpages. If there's anything I can do to assist you in organizing such a group, please by all means let me know. This is a great idea! --Durin 02:24, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit]In response to the query on my own Talk page: No. Not this CABAL. That ad meant Cabal as in this kind of cabal. [edit]Hi, I removed the lyrics you added to Tonight (1956 song). These lyrics are copyrighted and not under a free content license. Therefore they can not be added to the wikipedia article. See Wikipedia:Copyrights for more information. Garion96 (talk) 20:23, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
Message on your userpage
[edit]Angel David, the message on your userpage to me ("I am talking to you,Durin!") is entirely unnecessary. You do not own your userpage. Considerable lattitude is given to you as to the management of your userpage. This lattitude most emphatically does not extend to intentionally violating our policies. If you place more copyrighted, fair use images on your userpage in violation of our policies on this matter which I have previously informed you about, they will be removed regardless of you warning. I am quite happy to help you understand what are and are not copyrighted, fair use images. If you have questions about this status and/or need more clarification on the issue I'm at your disposal. All the best, --Durin 03:16, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
Semi-protection status of your userpage
[edit]Angel David, on 6 August 2007 I removed {{pp-semi-protected}} from your userpage because the page is not semi-protected [2]. I noted this in the edit summary and informed you that this use is inappropriate [3] . On 17 August, you re-added the template even though the page is not semi-protected [4]. I've now once again removed the semi protection template from your userpage [5]. Please do NOT re-add this template unless the page is, in fact, semi-protected as the use of this template when the page is not semi-protected is a clear abuse of the protection system. If you have questions about this, I'd be happy to answer. Thank you, --Durin 14:27, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
Angel David, please stop with removing the comment from Durin's talk page. See WP:3RR and WP:TALK. Since there were responses to the comment, removing it just makes the thread incomprehensible. If you regret making the comment, the best thing would just be to apologize and forget about it. We all do things that, in hindsight, we wish we hadn't done. If you apologize and let it go, and then resume useful editing on the encyclopedia, this will soon fade into the past and everyone will forget. Videmus Omnia Talk 23:26, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
Your edits to List of Konoha Ninja
[edit]Please don't add speculative information (e.g., that Naruto will be the 6th Hokage) no matter how much of a basis you think you may have for such info, or duplicate info that's already linked to elsewhere (e.g., info re. Tsunade that's already on her article page). Speculations such as theories that the 4th Hokage is Naruto's father were routinely deleted on a daily basis before I was able to get the page semi-protected because IPs were always adding this. Thanks. BrokenSphereMsg me 00:37, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Well in re. to the Naruto info, the tendency towards keeping speculation out of the articles is pretty strict; if I hadn't removed your additions, some of the other editors who are regulars with maintaining the pages would have. I was just letting you know why I removed your additions. As for the duplicative stuff, if it is already mentioned somewhere else, basically there's no need to repeat the same information, except maybe at a minimal level and only to provide context within a specific article where applicable - Sasuke and Kabuto's very short entries on Land of Sound and Akatsuki respectively, are examples of this, but their main entries are on Sasuke Uchiha and Land of Sound, respectively. The Tsunade info you added basically didn't need to be repeated on List of Konoha Ninja because it's already mentioned in her article anyways. Hope this helps. I don't understand
[edit]I don't understand this edit [6]. What were you saying there? — Carl (CBM · talk) 23:08, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
- I deal with the editprotected template every day, and I rewrote the entire template in March. I have no idea what you mean that it need to be used with nowiki somehow. Also, in your edit, you changed the section title to uppercase. You shouldn't change section titles, since if there is a link from another page to that section title, the change will break the link. — Carl (CBM · talk) 00:34, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
Hi Angel David. I happened to see the edit that you left on Carl's talk page. I think "It's kind of hard to under stand but you will learn some day" is not a very nice thing to say. You mention "civility" at the top of this page, so I'll assume that it was just a slip of the tongue. Regarding the editprotected template, it's common procedure to put it in nowiki if the request is dealt with, so that it does no longer show up in Category:Wikipedia protected edit requests. This is mentioned on Template:Editprotected. So I don't understand you either. -- Jitse Niesen (talk) 04:18, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

Assume bad faith Speedy
[edit]Hi there. I noticed that you've placed speedy tags on Assume_bad_faith twice now. Given that page is clearly intended to be a humorous essay (as denoted by the relevant templates), I don't think it falls under CSD#G1 (especially as it's not in the main space). If you disagree, place start a discussion to form a consensus for deletion. Best, --Bfigura (talk) 02:18, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

User:68.39.174.238
[edit]I believe this user is making an extended point about the trustworthiness of anonymous editors and sincerely does not want a user page so that his/her edits cannot be casually distinguished from those of a random anonymous editor. I think whatever your reason is for wanting this user to have a user page does not trump this user's explicit request (regularly repeated) not to have one. -- Rick Block (talk) 02:42, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

RFPP
[edit]Hello, I noticed you made an RFPP request for God. There is not enough activity to justify protection at the time. Please only make these requests if there is a lot of vandalism. Like George W. Bush (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views). Thanks. Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 00:27, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, God is an important article. But it isn't getting vandalized enough. We cannot protect a page because you don't want it to get vandalized, only if it is vandalized a LOT. Reviewing the history shows that it isn't like a magnet or anything, just some sparse vandalism. Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 00:34, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- Also, full protection is for edit warring, not vandalism. Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 00:42, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
Please substitute welcome template
[edit]When using certain template tags on talk pages, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:uw-test1}} instead of {{uw-test1}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template. --AFUSCO 01:54, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- when using welcome templates they should be substituted so the page is not modified every time the template is modified--AFUSCO 15:32, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry about that to be simpler when you add the welcome template type {{subst:welcome}} instead of {{welcome}} both will show the same thing on the page. See WP:SUBST for more information about what i mean--AFUSCO 19:30, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Template:Remove the empty one
[edit]A tag has been placed on Template:Remove the empty one, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD g1.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Gscshoyru 16:40, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
September 2007
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Template:Remove the empty one. If you do not believe the article should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's [[Talk:Template:Remove the empty one|talk page]]. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Gscshoyru 16:43, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Too bad
[edit]- There's no point in it existing... I'm not sure why you made it. Joke in terms of what? It's an empty, pointless template that should be deleted for that reason. Gscshoyru 16:49, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Um... not sure caring comes into it. It should be marked for deletion -- and if you keep removing the tags you'll end up blocked. If you really think it should stay add a {{hangon}} template to it. You seem to be a perfectly fine editor otherwise, but please stop removing the tag. Thanks! Gscshoyru 16:59, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from articles you have created yourself, as you did with Template:Remove the empty one. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. Gscshoyru 16:50, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Gschoyru, you're an idiot
[edit]You mean put your empty template up for deletion? What's wrong with that? If people agree that it should be deleted, then it will. If people don't agree, then it won't. All I did was bring attention to it. What exactly is your problem with it? Gscshoyru 19:22, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Ok Angel David, let me make this very clear: You are required to remain civil. This means you are not permitted to insult others. You seem like a good editor and I don't want to see you blocked... but it is a very real possibility. ---J.S (T/C/WRE) 19:27, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, I'm just used to doing it that way. Force of habit. And as for Assume Bad Faith -- well, it's a joke with content. And it has been nominated for deletion before -- and the result was keep, the talk page of the "article." So, all I'm doing is nominating your template -- and if the general consensus is to keep, then it will be kept. This is a regular wikipedia process. If you really want that template to exist so much, and the decision is delete, then host it on your own userspace, rather than the general wiki-space. Ok? Thanks! Gscshoyru 19:32, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Make a page in the normal way, but put it User:USERNAME/NAME_OF_PAGE there, ok? ~~
- Apology accepted. No worries.
- Oh, and if you really and truly think that WP:ABF should be deleted, you can do as I did and list it at WP:MFD. But I'm willing to be that the result will be keep. Gscshoyru 20:05, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Re:Listen
[edit]I've had a few of my contributions deleted but I don't go around attacking the editors who deleted them. Your messages(yes I know there's more than one)don't really come off as a simple joke, it looks very much like incivility and an attack on the editor which is a huge no-no. Even if your angry at them, try to keep a cool head when editing. Seriously what you think is a joke doesn't translate to text very well. If you continue making messages like that, it will get you blocked from editing. So don't call people names or attack them because of their edits and you won't get blocked. Why Wikipedia is not so great
[edit]This seems to have been extremely disruptive. Why did you do that? Are you OK? Are you trying to make a point? Was it a joke? That edit looks like vandalism to me. A.Z. 03:17, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- If you are waiting for a response please go to your talk page, where I answer things.--Angel David 00:15, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
- I saw your response. I don't always reply immediately. I feel that what you did was against Wikipedia. That essay is criticism, and as such it is intended to improve Wikipedia. A.Z. 07:04, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
- OK, I'm glad we solved that :-) I don't think, however, that "patent nonsense" would be a good reasoning to delete attack pages. A nomination for deletion, following a discussion where users can participate, would be better. Nevertheless, one of the criteria for speedy deletion is "attack pages". What I think is problematic with speedy deletion is that there's no discussion and only administrators can know what has been deleted. A.Z. 01:42, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
Please don't edit war
[edit]If someone disagrees with one of your changes enough to undo it, it's bad form to just put it back. Your change was pretty nonsensical, so doing it once was bad enough- doing it more than once is just unreasonable. When you have disagreements, try talking it over on the talk page instead of just using "brute force" editing. Friday (talk) 17:40, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
- I don't think Angel David's change was nonsensical. A.Z. 06:13, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
- I agree. Nevertheless, I prefer the original content. Angel David, talking things over on the discussion page when reverted is, indeed, a good idea. As an alternative, you may want to wait and see if another editor supports your change by either discussing it or reverting to your version. See also WP:BOLD and WP:BRD. Avb 11:20, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
- I tend to agree, although I admit that I myself am often a bit reckless when editing, ignoring consensus and discussion every now and then. I hope I'll improve on that. A.Z. 01:51, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

- Okay, when you are renamed, your name will change totally. The system will restrospectively change every edit you made to say your new username made them; e.g. when you view this diff after the change, it will no longer say Angel David made it, it will say Sky God made it. In addition, all of the pages in your userspace (i.e. your user page, your user talk page, and all of your subpages) will be moved to the new username. (User:Angel David will now say User:Sky God) and all of the content will be moved. Does that help? i said 02:23, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- Well, ideally it will change sometime on the 10th of October UTC time. However, there is a backlog from the 4th, so I don't know how long after the 10th it will take. i said 19:21, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

All parents push their own beliefs (or lack of same) on their children to a degree depending on the child's age: a feature of homo sapiens, not a bug IMO. Some also encourage their children to research alternatives: this can be a feature of a somewhat mature society, tolerant personal beliefs, or extraordinary parents. Regardless, that rebellious phase is also a feature of homo sapiens and you're quite right that AD may make a more informed choice later on. Avb 08:27, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
- I just hope he does. There are so many people out there who don't make an informed choice, and are stuck with an uninformed conviction for the rest of their lives. But I doubt, and again this is pure speculation here, that a child as young as 11 can say the things he does if it was not drilled into him from a very young age. DEVS EX MACINA pray 11:01, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
- It's highly likely, though not necessarily a bad thing. I start to worry when such beliefs go against the laws and values of what I consider somewhat mature societies, or when both the belief system and the society forced on the child largely or totally impair the acquisition of outside information and the development of broader insights. (We probably think alike in this respect. Helping to provide such information is my main reason for participating in the building of a free English-language encyclopedia.) [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at talk:Creation according to Genesis, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Don't change other peoples spelling, and don't mess with their sigs please. – ornis⚙ 15:36, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
- Do not change the spelling of G_d henceforth on any talk page. Thanks. OrangeMarlin Talk• Contributions 15:54, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
The New Messages Bar
[edit]Would you mind removing this? While not explicitly forbidden, they are frowned upon. They are rather annoying, and not particularly funny. Thanks. i said 23:54, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Thanks!
[edit]Thanks for the kind works! That was nice, and I'm glad to hear it. Nice one yourself. YДмΔќʃʀï→ГC← 10-11-2007 • 00:05:54 00:05, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- Haaaa! Like you I'm a very religious Christian (and extremely bias...), so I just wanted to tell you - When I was on you're page about GOD, you're Wiki-ad box had a message for Wikiproject:Judaism! YДмΔќʃʀï→ГC← 10-11-2007 • 23:04:16
- Oh, and when I copy-edited this to my page
it's just links to an image preview, and I even added a <reference/> tag to my page! Any reason? YДмΔќʃʀï→ГC← 10-12-2007 • 23:02:48
- Good to know I've got you're approval, but I changed the syntax to
{{click |image = On-Off Switch.jpg |height = 200px |width = 200px |link = Special:Userlogout&returnto=User:Yamakiri }} but it won't work, and I'd have to make {{click |image = On-Off Switch.jpg |height = 200px |width = 200px |link = Special:Userlogin&returnto=User:Yamakiri }}
too, the only problem is the ampersand character & will only show up as & amp; on the hover over (I've spaced it out because it shows up as & even with the nowiki tags on a page, not a link). How do you make it work?YДмΔќʃʀï→ГC← 10-13-2007 • 18:48:36
- You got it to work?!?!?! With the Click handler????! How!? YДмΔќʃʀï→ГC← 10-13-2007 • 22:21:13
- So, it worked somehow last time, and the click won't work? Also I totaly disagree with what's their username, people should be deep into religion and politics at least by age nine. Do you have a User:Angel David/monobook.js? If it's blue, you already know.YДмΔќʃʀï→ГC← 10-13-2007 • 22:29:27
- Definition, or preview? Definition - since you've never heard of it, I'm going to assume you're running monobook (tabe at top, navigation, interaction, search, toolbox on side etc.) Monobook is the skin you've got which can be changed via my preferences. Monobook is the skin, and js stands for JavaScript. The JavaScript modifies your browsing experiance, and has alot of cool changes. For example - if you're running firefox paste importScript('User:Yamakiri on Firefox/monobook.js'); into you're monobook, and with IE 7.0 paste importScript('User:Yamakiri/monobook.js'); into you're monobook. About that warning, if you think I'm going to add a code with a cookie and steal your password (Oops, just broke WP:BEANS!) then go to WP:Scripts and through about a zillion liks find user scripts. But that doesn't answer did it work before? YДмΔќʃʀï→ГC← 10-13-2007 • 22:38:43
- Ok timothy, (an in joke about one of my relatives who won't do anything unless 50 people tell him to) JavaScript, search for a cookie, go to Wikipedia:Scripts, WP:Tools, etc. Just telling you... Internet cookie YДмΔќʃʀï→ГC← 10-13-2007 • 22:50:43

- Your skin choices are listed there. As a test you could go to WP:TWINKLE if you've got Firefox and check out monobook. WP:POPUPS is a previewing device. YДмΔќʃʀï→ГC← 10-13-2007 • 23:07:30

Hello, Angel David. I am a bit curious why you say it is a policy or guideline. I don't see how people follow it or anything, it's not a rule. Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 01:57, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- Possibly, but that's already there, WP:CIVIL. And besides, you have to contact an admin. Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 02:02, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- Unfortunatley, something can't be a policy just because you want it. I can disagree, and probably others. Why don't you talk to an admin and express your opinion? Thanks, and happy editing! Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 02:06, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Hello. I noticed this. I do not see why you tagged it, as Wikipedia is not censored. Also, if you still disagree, please go here. Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 22:12, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Concerning your editing patterns
[edit]Hi Angel David. I've noticed your contributions, and I'm afraid you're not contributing to the encyclopedia. Wikipedia is not for social networking; it is an encyclopedia. Unless you do not stop this pattern, and start contributing to articles, I will block your account, and delete your userpages as you are abusing them. Please read through the policies I quoted. I suggest you strongly change your behaviour, and if you don't I will block you. Other users have asked you to stop this editing pattern; others have asked you already, and you should consider this as a final warning. --Maxim(talk) (contributions) 01:14, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- Well, what subjects are you interested in? --Maxim(talk) (contributions) 01:19, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- I feel you're abusing your userspace. Firstly, you don't own it, and I feel like deleting some pages, and removing some objectionable content. You've got to stop editing your userpages, and add to the encyclopedia; you can do vandal-fighting, for example. --Maxim(talk) (contributions) 01:24, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
