Citation errors on List of defunct Drum Corps International member corps
[edit]Hi Argonne73. Why are you reverting in undefined notes? They are just causing a cite error on the article, per the large red and black error messages in the notes section. Please see Help:Cite errors/Cite error group refs without references and Help:Cite errors/Cite error references no text. If you wish to add notes to the article you will need to go be them some content, as they are currently empty. As this is a noncontroversial technical fix I will be removing the blank notes again. If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks ActivelyDisinterested (talk) 23:54, 16 November 2021 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions are appreciated, but, in this edit to Argonne Rebels Drum and Bugle Corps, you removed Articles for deletion notices from articles or removed other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates. This makes it difficult to establish consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. A09090091 (talk) 22:04, 22 November 2021 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to remove Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did at Argonne Rebels Drum and Bugle Corps, you may be blocked from editing. Theroadislong (talk) 22:17, 22 November 2021 (UTC)
DCI articles
[edit]Please note discussions such as Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Esperanza Drum and Bugle Corps and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Velvet Knights Drum and Bugle Corps. If you have a serious argument why the Argonne DCI team should be covered differently, make it and I will listen. User:力 (powera, π, ν) 01:00, 21 November 2021 (UTC)
Please review the guidelines for editors with conflicts of interest
[edit]Hello, Argonne73. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Argonne Rebels Drum and Bugle Corps, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 05:08, 21 November 2021 (UTC)

Is there a particular reason you're breaking the formatting in the intro of Defunct Drum Corps International and non-member corps? —C.Fred (talk) 03:03, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
December 2021
[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Argonne, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. The page you edited is a disambiguation page where multiple articles with the same name are linked to. Please do not re-add content to the disambiguation page. You can create a draft or use your sandbox to create and improve on your content. -- LuK3 (Talk) 00:36, 17 December 2021 (UTC)
File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Argonnelogo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Argonnelogo.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.
If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.
Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 21:16, 24 December 2021 (UTC)
Argonne Rebels Drum and Bugle Corps
[edit]Please do not continue to try and restore this article outside of proper Wikipedia processess. The article was recently discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Argonne Rebels Drum and Bugle Corps and the consensus established was to redirect the article to List of defunct Drum Corps International member corps. That discussion was closed ony a few weeks ago, but if something has dractically changed since then, please follow the instructions given here. Usually, the first thing to do about when you have concerns about the way a discussion has been closed is to first ask the person who closed it for clarification. In this case, the was a Wikipedia administrator named User:clpo13; so, you should perhaps try asking clpo13 about this on their user talk page and see what they say. Try and keep your post civil without basically repeating what had been previously posted in the above-mentioned articles for deletion discussion. clpo13 should be able to advise you on whether something called deletion review is an option here.
If you simply continue to try and force restore the article yourself, the most likely result is that your account is going to end up being blocked by an administrator, particularly since you seem to have a conflict of interest with respect to the subject of the article. Wikipedia articles are not owned by their subjects as explained in Wikipedia:Ownership of content and the subjects of articles have no "right" to be written about on Wikipedia. There are ways other than Wikipedia if you want to create a record of the corp's history and activities that you can exert control over and some of can be edited in manner similar to Wikipedia. Anything posted on Wikipedia, however, is going to be expected to comply with relevant Wikipedia policies and guidelines, and the same is also going to be expected of anyone creating or editing such content. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:14, 24 December 2021 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of The Argonne Rebels
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on The Argonne Rebels requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Argonne Rebels Drum and Bugle Corps. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hello, I'm Isabelle Belato. I noticed that in this edit to 1992 United States railroad strike, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Isabelle 🔔 03:10, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
