Welcome!

Hello, Eleventh1, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Mass Hysteria (band), may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! TheRealFennShysa (talk) 17:04, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mass Hysteria (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. TheRealFennShysa (talk) 17:04, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there; I saw your note on RHworth's talkpage and went ahead and restored Mass Hysteria (band). If you could add the references you pointed out there to the article, that'd be great; I'm happy to help. Just poke me if you've got any questions or queries. Hopefully this experience didn't disenchant you somewhat, and you decide to stick around! Regards, Ironholds (talk) 22:43, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And ignore the above message as well. Ironholds (talk) 00:58, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,[edit]

A discussion with the IP editor who has been trying to force changes to French Resistance has started on Talk:French_Resistance. Since you were also an editor who reverted the former edits of this person as too POV, I thought the discussion may be of interest to you. Cheers, W. B. Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited List of French inventions and discoveries, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Basset (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Thanks for your help with Gobind Khorana's identity. This is confirmed at the nobelprize.org website — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.129.251.17 (talk) 22:07, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wait five seconds?[edit]

I'm glad to see you're adding more information and references to the page, but this comment in the edit summary was completely unnecessary. I have no indication on my end that you will return to add the citation, so I did what anyone should do when a statement is made without a reference. I humbly ask that you refrain from making such comments in the future. Thank you. -- MisterDub (talk | contribs) 22:11, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted your removal of the AFD tag from this article, which you userfied earlier. User:Colonel Warden reverted the move and questioned the close of the AFD. I, meanwhile, had closed it as Userfied - but since it's no longer userfied, that doesn't apply. Rather than start a new AFD, I reverted my close and annotated the debate. If you wish to explicitly withdraw your nomination, you can do so at the AFD. Sorry for the confusion. UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 19:34, 5 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

2012 Midi-Pyrénées shootings[edit]

Hi, 2012 Midi-Pyrénées shootings is not Islamic terrorism, Article 2012 shootings. Why do you add the category again? This is an attack on the individual. Mohammad merah's religion is not important. Terrorism has no place in Islam as well. 15:30, 27 March 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Emresunay (talkcontribs)

You can propose Category:Islamist terrorism in France for deletion then. Tkuvho (talk) 15:51, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You have twice reverted[1],[2] three separate sourced edits without deigning to discuss this on the Talk page, and then rather incredibly stated, "Don't begin an edit war". While you may disapprove of my conduct, you will find that WP:KETTLE rather accurately describes your editorial behaviour. I am obviously not suggesting you did so in a malicious manner.
Best Wishes Ankh.Morpork 22:13, 28 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
My deletions were legitimate, your edits were not. And if you really understood WP:KETTLE, you would see the irony here (and you, once again, used a personal attack against a fellow contributor). Eleventh1 (talk) 06:25, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
He not discussing you but yours edits which is perfectly ok--Shrike (talk) 08:25, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Warning. You have made three edits [3][4][5] which have removed sources and material from the article. You have not discussed this on the Talk page. Prior to this you have made deletions of entire paragraphs of sourced material [6] without any previous discussion. You removed the source of material throughout the article and then later removed information claiming it was unsourced.[7][8] Please stop your disruptive editing.

ANI[edit]

I have reported you to ANI
Best Wishes Ankh.Morpork 10:00, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a short time for your disruption caused by edit warring and violation of the three-revert rule. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Kuru (talk) 12:12, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I see no exceptions to 3RR here; this is a content dispute. Kuru (talk) 12:12, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Eleventh1 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I followed the policy that can be seen on WP:3RR : Reverting to enforce certain overriding policies is not considered edit warring. To add false information not supported by the sources in an article as was done certainly fall in this category. And beyond that, my last revert of this article was several hours ago. I am modifying another article right now and I don't intend to make any revert on 2012 Midi-Pyrénées shootings anytime soon. Eleventh1 (talk) 12:19, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Reverting unsourced or improperly sourced material that you believe is incorrect is not a valid exception to the 3RR rule. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:25, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Table in the article "Funding of Science"[edit]

You added a table to the article Funding of science which lists some statistics. There are two problems. The first is that you gave no sources, and the second is that you didn't say what ISR&D stands for. There is a section in the talk page where two people have asked what ISR&D stands for. Also, a google search does come up with an answer. Therefore, I don't think it can be considered obvious what it stands for. Could you list your sources for the statistics and explain what ISR&D stands for? Rectipaedia (talk) 02:54, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
