Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or , and a volunteer should respond shortly. Again, welcome! <--- That's a canned message up to this sentence, but I am a real editor and I do want to welcome you. I see you have been active for a while already, but I think no one has welcomed you before, and I am inserting this note at the top of your current Talk page. I noticed you from your edits at your new article John Neilson (c.1770 - 1827), because I got notification from it linking to an article or two that I created previously, and/or from other edits. Hey, John Neilson sounds like an interesting guy, and I hope you will continue to develop that article!
By the way, and it is not a big thing, but you should usually not indicate that your edits are "minor", as in your most recent edits. In practice, tagging as "minor" is used for when we simply make a spelling correction or the like, not when any content is being added. Hey, it is really hard to get started at Wikipedia. Most new editors encounter too many rules and adversarial others' edits, when it is impossible to know all the written and unwritten rules in advance. The only way to learn is to forge ahead; I hope it will work out for you. I'll "watchlist" here, but feel free to contact me at any time at my Talk page to call my attention to here or otherwise. Cheers, --doncram 22:10, 16 March 2017 (UTC)
Thanks Doncram for the advice, particularly as regards the "Minor edit" indication. I reviewed the rules for this and then went through my contributions. Yikes! While many were appropriately "minor," many others were not (e.g. where I added a source and thought it was "minor"). I will be more careful going forward. [edit]Oh John from Idegon, it's not like he didn't already know you are an asshole, removing every entry of it won't change the fact. 82.30.110.20 (talk) 01:25, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
A page you started (John Neilson (c.1770 - 1827)) has been reviewed!
[edit]Thanks for creating John Neilson (c.1770 - 1827), Christian B Martin!
Wikipedia editor Boleyn just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:
Thanks for creating this. Can you please WP:INLINECITE this? No one else will be able to easily do so, and without it, this can't get Good Article status and will be less useful to readers. Thanks again.

[edit]Disambiguation link notification for January 26
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited I Am (poem), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Showtime. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]You sent me, from Wikipedia, the following email:
"this is how it is described in reliable sources"
LOL
Editors like you have utterly destroyed the integrity of Wikipedia.
Im sorry you feel that following reliable sources has destroyed Wikipedia. But you do not need to email me about it. Thanks, nableezy - 12:44, 17 June 2022 (UTC)
- Nobody but the partisan clowns that run Wikipedia believe its list of "reliable" sources is in fact "reliable." All but a few of its major sources are completely ideological, and not just quietly so, but in the most obvious of ways. This utter LACK of reliability of Wikipedia's sources is boringly apparent to every reasonable outside observer. And unfortunately, what began as a wonderful enterprise is now a joke... [edit]Hello, I'm LilianaUwU. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to St. Louis gun-toting incident—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. - "Constructive?" Nine people chose to LEAVE the march route and TRESPASS on private property. They were in fact cited for trespassing, you dingbat. What would be constructive is if you would educate yourself and not try to correct elders who are far wiser and more logical than you. Christian B Martin (talk) 03:03, 20 October 2022 (UTC)

- As long as Wikipedia continues to be run by agenda-driven partisans (who live to cancel "unwoke" long time contributors), Wikipedia will never be an "encyclopedia." Don't kid yourself... Christian B Martin (talk) 12:45, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
