{{helpme}} I am working on the page "Delta Theta Sigma" for my fraternity and want to know what I need to do to make it kosher with the wikipedia guidelines Geoffrie 17:02, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Delta Theta Sigma has a 'notability' tag on, but it was agreed notable in an AfD discussion, so you don't have to worry excessively about that. (As you mentioned 'guidelines' rather than 'policies', I suspect it's the tag you're worried about; if you mention the discussion in your edit summary it's probably safe to remove it.) From a broader point of view, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view is one of the most important things to think about when writing an article for 'your fraternity'; try not to make the article sound like advertising or to present it in a more positive light than would be appropriate for an encyclopedia. --ais523 17:10, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
Also look at the WP:MOS - and as per comments on deletion page expand it out e.g. put in notable alumni and positive things that the fraternity have done past and present.Lethaniol 17:13, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Template:NorthstarHiawathaCentral requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

G6 (XfD): This template had a TfD closed as '"Delete" in 2010 (Wikipedia:Templates_for_discussion/Log/2010_December_14#Template:NorthstarLine) but was never actually deleted. However the reasoning stands and this template has not been significantly edited since then.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
