Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Julian Gil has been reverted.
Your edit here to Julian Gil was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://es-la.facebook.com/JULIANGILTV/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. McVeigh / talk 00:59, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It was already enough, your edits are not constructive. The filmography section does not need references, because those references that you are asking so urgently, are here. If the references are already in place, there is no need to repeat them, is that you feel like bothering or what?. If I put that references in the section of his personal life missing, it is because really needed in these section references. Another thing, this is not the wikipedia in French, here is not allowed both the use of red links, please see: Wikipedia:RED link. If not interested in understanding, or gives you the same, and plan to continue with their attitude, I will have to ask for help from an administrator.--McVeigh / talk 12:16, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It is no need to menace me. Your edits are destructive if the others have not the same opinion as you. Be positive ! I waste my time to discuss with you unstead of creating pages under "red" links. Is it better to link articles with external imdb pages unstead of creating pages ? I would prefer a win-win and collaborative relationship with you. Do not forget, we have a common interest: the telenovelas. Yes or no ?

--Gilles2014 (talk) 00:08, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Do not take it as a threat, but if above I have explained, that the use of the links in red, are not allowed here. And it's not something I invented. It does not bother me you make corrections, but your edits in the article by Julián Gil were not correct, ask to add more references in the filmography section was unnecessary, because the references are already placed. Only to bind an article, when such an article exists, otherwise place links in red is unnecessary, they could spend days, months or years, so anyone want to create those non-existent articles. With respect to the modeling section, it is not necessary to create a list apart. I am working in the Julian article and that information I have thought to add it, but with references.--McVeigh / talk 00:32, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia is a collaborative activity. Your point of view is not a rule. For example, why to put links to IMDB in the text. Have "red" links is an incitation for other contributors to create the pages. How many languages do you know to apply your proper rules on the pages. It is preferable to have an harmony between pages translated of a same artist or film. Wikipedia can be continually improved by other contributors. Will you delete or will you want to make the other pages blocked?
I have a proposition to conciliate our points of view.
A third person could select articles among the best articles in English according to this Wikipedia. These articles will be examples to create articles on films, TV series, telenovelas, TV shows, reality-show, piece of theater, also for an artist like Julian Gil who works in the world of telenovelas, TV series, TV shows, theater, modeling. These articles will be choosen by a third person. If needed, a neutral person can add some complementary rules on use of external links and "red" links, on the categories and portal to indicate at the foot of the page. Mc Veigh, other contributors and I will commit ourselves to create or modify pages in compliance with these best articles. Advantages: to stop this sterile discussion, vandalism on links, references and film, to harmonise articles concerning this special artistical world of telenovelas. What do you think about this suggestion ? We will create more good articles in a shorter time.

--Gilles2014 (talk) 22:02, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You got that right, and in fact I've removed the external links section of the films. Envelopes red links above I've left a link, which you can read. Think it is right to enter an item and see a lot of red links ?. That would be acceptable in other wikipedia, but here there are rules. In fact to get to see you fight things, because we did not create those items that are needed ?.--McVeigh / talk 22:25, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Can you answer to my proposition, please ? You cannot force the others to adopt your point of view. What do you propose concretely ? That I wait until you have finished "your" page? I have serenity because at any time, another contributor can remove all your changes with the same missunderstanding that you have to the previous contributors. In each Wikipedia there are rules and "red" links, best and bad practices, comprehensive person or not. It is life ! If you do not answer my questions or propose a conciliation, the fight will be continued also on the spanish wiki where you have been expulsed by an administrator. Do not oppose me rules that you do not apply correctly, see the internal and external links. It will take to much time to argue and convince you for each point, for example to put again the references that you remove. I can try to speak to you in another language if you do not understand my words in French or in English to answer to my proposition. The notion of Telenovela exists also in english Wikipedia.

--Gilles2014 (talk) 23:11, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is English wikipedia. Not wikipedia in Spanish or French. What you do there is because in these wikipedia let. Here there are different standards. And not I need someone else to intervene, I do not understand which is desperate to put links in red in an article. Because you yourself don't believe those articles, and then link them?. That means that you are waiting for other people to do the work that you do not do.--McVeigh / talk 23:28, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I remember that YOU have removed the links and references I had put on english articles. You undo systematically what I did on any pages in any languages. You do not collaborate and discuss. You do not want to distinguish the Telenovela notion from the TV series. You remove this section and the Modeling section pretending to decide for all the contributors. In Julian Gil's carrer there is the allusion of modeling, so why remove this section ? You do not answer to my proposition and prefer to argue on links just at the end of the eternity. Try to understand that we must find a SOLUTION otherwise your conflict with me will start again with other contributors and also on other wikis. You have already lived this uncomfortable situation on french and spanish wikis... Where is your problem ? What is your purpose ? You cannot change the spirit of Wikipedia : let the others collaborate without vandalism!

--Gilles2014 (talk) 01:03, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know what you mean. Do second section which did not have was modeling references, as one can see that all that was there was true?. Just because you saw it on TV, or they said it, that does not count as references, nor that you are fan of Julián Gil. Telenovelas and TV series can go in the same section, there is no need to create two sections apart. In addition that is already specified. If you want that section to appear in the article, you can put it in this way.[1]. That way it would be much better, instead of a long list.--McVeigh / talk 01:23, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did to Julián Gil, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. McVeigh / talk 21:30, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

answer to Mc Veigh: do not hesitate to apply this rule for yourself. Please do not add or change content, as you did to Julián Gil, without citing a reliable source. For example, the official site of a celebrity is not a reliable source. The page obra-omision-del-teatro-universitario is not about Julian Gil at all. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Not UNDO because you remove changes which do not affect the content. We can build together unstead you remove the work of others contributors. Thank you for your understanding.

--Gilles2014 (talk) 21:53, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Great, to find the bad things that others do, you are perfect. In the Julián Gil article in the French wikipedia, you did everything you came you want, here are not coming to do whatever you want. I'm working on that article and is like I'm going to add information about their works in theaters. First you are adding information without references. The fact that this is another wikipedia, that does not mean that it is certain information.--McVeigh / talk 22:40, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
négocier=to negociate=negociar; please, do without UNDO the work of the other contributors (for example: my addition of references). The page of Julian Gil is in contruction and there is a message to call for contribution. So I contribute to build this page. Please, add other reliable references as soon as possible where it is "citation needed". How many references do you want to be satisfied ? One for every sentence, every piece of theater, every movie, every telenovela, every TV serie, every TV show, every award, every nomination ? I don't know such an article. Even the spanish article on Julian Gil, the main source translated for the english article, has not so many data. I propose you a solution to avoid this discussion, but you don't agree to imitate good articles selected by a third person.

--Gilles2014 (talk) 23:50, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

First that nothing, I do not need to negotiate anything with you, nor do I wish to include a third person in the problems that we have, that's his decision. Now the information that I have added in this article, I've searched it Internet, am not taking info from wikipedia in Spanish. I don't do that, you already have your article in the French wikipedia, you own your article there. And however like to impose me your orders here?. I am who is working this article not you. And as well as in the French wikipedia there are rules and guidelines of as they must be the things, here also there. And I'm tired of saying it.--McVeigh / talk 01:09, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
At the top of Julian Gil's english page there is the sentence: "You are welcome to assist in its construction by editing it as well." So I contribute. I contributed also to improve articles like other contributors. And I will continue to contribute to this page and others.
Can you give me the link that explains that you own some pages on Wikipedia ? You can add the english reliable references you have found directly in English. That would been better for readers only english-speaking.
When you UNDO, you remove also changes on the format (changes without affecting the content) and improvements.

négocier=to negociate=negociar; Wikipedia=collaborer sans vandalisme=to collaborate without vandalism; Do not forget: we have a common positive interest: the telenovelas. --Gilles2014 (talk) 01:43, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Tell me something, it does continue to ignore the messages that I have left you?. Clearly I have reverted his edits with a clear justification, but I see that it gives you the same.--McVeigh / talk 03:27, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I am very patient. Do you know that you can change the content of a page without UNDO ? YOU ignore the messages I leave you: Do not UNDO and add the english references you have found. Tell me what pages you own What do you prefer: conflict or contribution in serenity ? I want no conflict.

--Gilles2014 (talk) 03:49, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have obviously given sufficiently clear reasons, that you you have amount that is your problem. The fact that the French do different things, does not mean that you are going to come here to do the same.--McVeigh / talk 04:01, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I will continue to do the same as in French Wikipedia: to contribute ! I have added some references on the english page of Julián Gil. Can you give me the link that explains that you own some pages on Wikipedia ? You can add the english reliable references you have found directly in English. That would been better for readers only english-speaking.
You indicate that Marina is the debut film of Julián Gil. Can you justify this by a reference, please ?

--Gilles2014 (talk) 12:05, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove sourced information/references without first discussing it on the talk page, thank you.

--Gilles2014 (talk) 15:00, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Let's see, the references carry a format, as shown in this page. That the French used the format of the references in other words, that nothing more in the French wikipedia. Not here. Another thing, for that would fill complete Filmography of the actor with references?. These references can be added here, that is the correct section to talk about all his works in film and television. For example you can see the article of Zac Efron. All references are in their appropriate section. You do not necessarily have to repeat references that are already in the section of action of Julián Gil.--McVeigh / talk 13:53, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I respect the format of the reference. References can run horizontally or vertically, see Template:Cite_web. I use the vertical format to put a new reference. But while I was working on references, you undo see 03:24, 16 November 2014 the Julián Gil: Revision history.
I added references in the filmography of Julian Gil, but you undo them, see the Julián Gil: Revision history.
If you want to put the information and references only in the acting carreer, what is the use of the filmography section? There are also links outside the carrer section of Zac Efron's article, see the article of Zac Efron.
I don't repeat references (no redundancy) but new references. I put references on films and telenovelas that were already on the english article of Julián Gil, but you undo, see the

Julián Gil: Revision history, for example: you undo at 02:56, 16 November 2014 the telenovela quien eres tu.

I agree with you: All references are to be in the most appropriate section.
You indicate that Marina is the debut film of Julián Gil. Can you justify this by a reference, please ? Do you want that I find this reference?

--Gilles2014 (talk) 15:00, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The vertical use of the references are to articles of books.Recommended for horizontal use. You can not make a reference to occupy so much unnecessary spaces in each section of an article. So it is recommended for horizontal use. I have nothing against that, you add references, but fill the entire section of filmography with references, it seems to me very redundant and unnecessary in this case, there is a section for that.--McVeigh / talk 15:11, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Answer to Mc Veigh: you can put references in vertical or horizontal format, see Template:Cite_web. I prefer the vertical format while building the article. I had not pressed the button 'undo', but you did it systematically.
There is no redundancy because there were no references on Quien eres tu until I put a reference. I created again the modeling section with a reference, of course.
There are indications 'citation nedeed' in the personal life of Julian Gil's english article. Do you want I put references?

--Gilles2014 (talk) 15:30, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

See, already let you the article in the French wikipedia. And do not, however, like to put orders and rules here?, you just are not working on that article. I was working it and do not wish to use the references in vertical format, since it is unnecessary and takes many unnecessary spaces.--McVeigh / talk 15:47, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I am working on this article, see my last answer. You can put references in vertical or horizontal formats. It is an order but a choice to negotiate. I read and asked others on this item.
I am surprised because you decide to remove the notable sentimental relations of Julian Gil. I will put them again. The reasons: it is important to know that he was in love with two actresses who are starring in the last telenovela Hasta el fin del mundo. And Brenda Torres is not the mother of the second child of Julian Gil.

--Gilles2014 (talk) 16:06, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I don't agree you undo the reliable reference I put on the telenovela Quien eres tu. You removed also references on other telenovelas. Can you put them again?
I asked you above: Please do not remove sourced information/references without first discussing it on the talk page, thank you.

--Gilles2014 (talk) 16:16, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

[edit]

I think I was very clear, I leave to you the Julián Gil article in the French wikipedia, and I have not touched you most, then because like to impose your rules here?.--McVeigh / talk 00:18, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

About Julián Gils article in English: Happy new year! I proposed you last year to discuss with me before you undo (see above). I am allowed to improve any articles. I apply the specific rules of each language I use, english rules also. It is easier and faster for me to build the external references in the vertical format. Please, do not undo all the reliable events and references I research and put (almost all the work in January, more than 2,000 bytes) see the Julián Gil: Revision history.

You can change the format from vertical to horizontal for the external references, if you want. Be collaborative to find reliable external links (information in forum or IMDB are not considered as reliable external references). I didn't work on this page in December, you could improve it. Be cool and comprehensive... --Gilles2014 (talk) 01:06, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I can explain that you want to create a section that says "Modeling"?, what you're doing is an unnecessary list. And this already we have speaking and you appear to understand or simply doesn't care.--McVeigh / talk 01:14, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
answer to McVeigh: Please, don't cancel the reliable events and references. The section "Modeling" has been created for many years! You systematically undo what I write. In Wikipedia some variantes are allowed. I insist on the "Modeling" section because this activity is important in Gil' career. I don't want that Julian Gil's article be forbiden to write like last year. I want neither conflict nor vandalismus. Can you help and find an external reliable reference for the very first movie with Julián Gil unstead of undoing, please? --Gilles2014 (talk) 03:03, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've already said you that Julián Gil article is not a list, to go by placing everything in that way. If you want to add information about her career as a model, because you do not as well as it appears in this article, which is better to create a list.--McVeigh / talk 09:17, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
answer to McVeigh:José Pablo Minor makes contests of beauty (concurso de belleza). That is not the case for Julián Gil. It is important to mention the Modeling section for Julián Gil because its calendars and events I indicated are associated to proofs of his notoriety, a part of career and his philantropie briefly. When you delete the Modeling section, you undo information that was in this page for ages and that I had completed with reliable references. It will be better to improve than undo.
I still got information from wikipedia experts in English: you are not the owner of the Julián Gil's english article; and tables and horizontal formatted references are not at all mandatory in english articles. I have a lot of other data to add on Gil's articles, it is regrettable that you undo all I write, only because you prefer another format.--Gilles2014 (talk) 22:30, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Appendix: Episodes of Hasta el fin del mundo, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Philip J Fry (talk) 22:31, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

answer to Philip J Fry: it would be better to discuss before deleting the page. This appendix was in construction, in progress. I want to complete with information on each episode. Other articles have also an appendix. Can you give me the page that prevent me from building an article with more information on the telenovela "Hasta el fin del mundo" ?

Why, do you continue undoing systematically my work, McVeigh? The others thank me because I translate or reread articles, search and provide references, complete articles, create the very first articles on some celebrities or movies ? I apply the rules of typography. Wouldn't you want to improve the pages on the world of telenovelas with me ?--Gilles2014 (talk) 00:13, 25 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Actually I didn't see that you've done a lot on that list of episodes, you have just copied and you hit from the episode list that you created in the French wikipedia. And also the title of the article that created was poorly translated and the content of the article also. And the list of episodes had no references, you placed the wrong categories. And forth you're complaining?. I recommend that you for the next time that you create an article, use this template.--Philip J Fry (talk) 03:02, 25 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

answer to Philip J Fry: it would be better to discuss before deleting the page. Now, you undo anything I do in the article "Hasta el fin del mundo". Most of the articles I read in English and in other languages are in construction since many years and they have not the mention "under construction": they are not uptodate, have no references and/or no correct tables, etc. Be fair and improve these articles unstead undo. Don't judge the work of others ("for example: the "poorly translated" title) and don't invent rules as soon as I create articles. If I put wrong categories, please help and put the right ones unstead undo, McVeigh. There is also a lot of work to do in the page Wikipedia:Community portal.
To start not my name is McVeigh. Second, the page was not finished title that had was wrong, for the list of episodes you must use a title like "List of Hasta el fin del mundo episodes". In addition article was not finished and had many shortcomings, the same articles that you created this on fr.wiki, and I don't see that you've done something on this wiki. And the list of episodes should carry a correct table, as you can see in the article of Muchacha italiana viene a casarse. And you want to ask that you stop accusing me of vandalism, if what I did was vandalism, why an administrator deleted the page?..--Philip J Fry (talk) 00:17, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
answer to Philipp J Fry: somebody else did not like the term "list" in the title "list of episodes..." on Wikipedia. I cannot conciliate your two different points of view. Sometimes, it is not easy to understand your english language. Do you change your translator ? What is the name of the administrator who deleted the page so promptly without warning? I would like to discuss with him with pleasure.--Gilles2014 (talk) 22:03, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
How can you tell that not are you warning about deletion of the article you created?. Clearly I gave notice, I am sorry if you can not understand it, but of course you I notice. And if the English for you is so difficult, for which think poorly translated articles?. I nor is English perfectly, but I've been nearly 3 years editing this wikipedia and something I've learned.--Philip J Fry (talk) 22:28, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
answer to Philipp J Fry: Please, give me the name of the administrator who deleted the page so promptly? Perhaps I know him already. I would like to discuss with him with pleasure.--Gilles2014 (talk) 00:28, 29 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
And to case not see his name?, on the same page that leaves page, the administrator is called RHaworth, also this article in my opinion I seem irrelevant and poorly drafted, because you copied it from fr.wiki and they have no references and a good format, also do not know what you were doing there?, if practically going to leave all as is as it is on fr.wiki.--Philip J Fry (talk) 01:05, 29 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Fuego en el alma, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.maverickentertainment.cc/movies/movie.php?id=124.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Answer: to avoid any endless discussion, I rewrite content in this page.--Gilles2014 (talk) 21:18, 21 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Gilles2014! I'm afraid that that approach does not solve the problem. As it clearly says on the notice the bot (quite rightly) placed on your initial version of the page, "Note that simply modified or rephrased text is still an infringement—to remove the copyrighted contents you will need to completely remove them and then write totally new text to replace it." Changing a few words of the existing copyright violation does not do the job (see this tool to see why not). I have now removed the offending text. Please do not restore it to the page.

Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the wording of the source too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; please see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing.. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 20:30, 5 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Julián Gil filmography

WP:FILMOGRAPHY clearly says: "Please note: When using separate tables for Film and Television performances, "Television films" belong in the Television table (e.g. see below)." And the rules are the rules and must be met. Television films has no other place in any other place, nothing else on the TV table.--Philip J Fry talk 05:42, 10 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Arturo Peniche, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lucero. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello. I solve the problem by putting the precise internal link to the municipality of Puerto Rico: Carolina.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of telenovelas, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Canaima (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

I removed the link pointing to the disambiguation page.
