London Road Viaduct

Thanks for updating this - I was amazed at how quickly my original article was expanded and improved. I have been working on the LB&SCR, its predecessors, locomotives, stations etc. I have a few reference books and also access to many electronic sources, but now live a long way from Sussex! Best wishes Das48 (talk) 19:42, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Upcoming revised list of churches in Brighton

I've left a few comments at User talk:Hassocks5489/Spoken. Circeus (talk) 19:19, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

In the absence of sources, I'd say "no except for stating the current state/describing of the church" as its pictures could be considered a reasonably reliable source. Since it doesn't give further sources for statements like "dedicated by X" or "built in XXXX", I'd say it is not a reliable source for such statements. Circeus (talk) 21:33, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Came across this and I figured with your keen interest in B&H churches (or probably just heritage in general), you might be interest in it. Circeus (talk) 21:16, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Audio review requested

Hi,

Could I request that you please review Image:Bank_Myna.ogg and let me know what requires improvement. The WikiProject Military History (and WikiProject Bird) people have blinked twice at the mention of spoken articles. If I can get my act together, perhaps more spoken articles will be made. AshLin (talk) 12:42, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for your message. I eagerly await your feedback. AshLin (talk) 01:31, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

New WikiProject up your alley

There's a proposal out there for WikiProject Historic Sites. Circeus (talk) 12:46, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

Wikipedia:WikiProject Historic Sites is opened up. I took the liberty of assuming your support for the wikiproject meant you wanted to join as a member, and I copied your signature to the Members list on the main page. Please visit and add to, or remove, your listing there. It would be great to hear about what you're interested in the Wikiproject becoming, in your member comment and/or at the Talk page, shortcut wt:HSITES. Thanks for your support! doncram (talk) 17:26, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

Hey, I just came here from Fotaun's talk page. I discovered that you wrote the hook for extinct comet and wanted to thank you for it. That's exactly the type of hook I look for on the main page, and I hope to see more from you. Thanks! :) Viriditas (talk) 01:49, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
Ah, no wonder. I see from your user page you are a DYK expert. Viriditas (talk) 01:53, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
Hi there Hassocks- Its me, fotaun; just wanted to thank you for writing that DYK. (Hello to Virditas also!) Fotaun (talk) 04:16, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

Thank-you for the rewiew.

Thank you for reviewing Bank Myna. I'm sorry for the late reply - I mssed seeing it as that day I saw a new message at the bottom and did not notice yours. I have noted whatever you told me and hope to improve on that soon. I'm now in the process of undertaking one topic each from WP:INDIA (Ladakh), WP:TOL(Bird) and WP:MILHIST (yet to be chosen). I am in the process of preparing the scripts. I'll be requesting you for further reviews of these once I am done recording. AshLin (talk) 02:40, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

DYK for Chattri (Brighton)

--Dravecky (talk) 07:20, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

Congratulations on the excellent Chattri article. My wife and I were intending to walk there when we were at Wolstonbury Hill only two weeks ago, but ran out of time. Before we were married my wife worked at the Mayor of Brighton's office where one of her duties was helping to organise an annual visit to the Chattri by the Indian High Commissioner. At that time the mayor's office still retained guest lists from the opening ceremony in the 1920s.--Charles (talk) 09:39, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
