You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Autobiography of Walter N Iwachiw, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. TheStrikeΣagle 13:57, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

March 2013[edit]

Hello, Iwachiw2001. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you should consider our guidance on Conflicts of interest and take a look at the Plain and simple conflict of interest guide.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. TheStrikeΣagle 14:25, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not for writing about yourself[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, but it is not a place like LinkedIn or Facebook for people to write about themselves. It is a different sort of site, a project to build an encyclopedia, so it is selective about subjects for articles, and writing about oneself is strongly discouraged, for reasons explained at Wikipedia is not about YOU and Wikipedia:Autobiography. The links in the Welcome message at the top of this page will tell you more about Wikipedia. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 14:35, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

March 2013[edit]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at New York City mayoral election, 2013. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Tiller54 (talk) 17:16, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at New York City mayoral election, 2013, you may be blocked from editing. Tiller54 (talk) 18:13, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at New York City mayoral election, 2013, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Wikipedia is not about YOU. Please stop vandalising the page by adding unsourced claims about yourself. Only notable candidates with a third party reference are listed on this page. Your apparent self-declared candidacy meets none of those requirements. If you persist in vandalising the page, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you, Tiller54 (talk) 18:42, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

tiller54 please stop your erasure of my candidacy in nyc election. I consider it deliberate and a crime. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at New York City mayoral election, 2013, you may be blocked from editing. iwachiw2001[1]

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. – Muboshgu (talk) 19:00, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  Black Kite (talk) 20:01, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

i am the candidate for nyc mayor 2013 this block is partisan politically motivated, a simply check of nyc campaign site http://www.nyccfb.info/candidates/ shows that i am a candidate for mayor of new york and have been warred on by partisan users tiller54 and moboshgu and now black kite has blocked the restoral of the candidate information for walter n iwachiw rn. I am requesting the immediate lifting of the block and locking of the page including all candidates for mayor in nyc from the current nyc campaign finance site. iwachiw2001

Decline reason:

You are blocked for a breach of WP:3RR; the rest of your request is not relevant to this. --jpgordon::==( o ) 20:21, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Not to mention admins are under no obligation to (and indeed are barred from) locking a page on a specific revision, and they especially won't do so on a blocked user's say-so. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 20:37, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I could have locked the article but chose to revert the edit instead; I couldn't leave a huge chunk of unsourced, mostly irrelevant, and barely readable text in the article. Whether Mr Iwachiw is actually a candidate in the election is a side issue (incidentally, it appears that the article only lists notable candidates, but I'm no expert on this type of article). Black Kite (talk) 21:09, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

mr black kite is wrong and a clear heading for the subject edit is "declared" the question is why is black kite blocking accurate entries to the nyc mayoral race who is he working for. Candidaters without the to fight for placement against these partisan users are eliminated from the listing. WIKI credibility is in danger of further erosion by allowing these partisan wars...additionally some of your users dont understand that blocked users cant reply and take that as a sign of guilt...dawn bard... i cant respond because im blocked please research the nyc campaign website and see he candidates listed...an encyclopedia is for all the information not a subset blabk kite wants.. lets burn the all books mr black kite...that way the truth cant come out... On the matter of accuracy candidate Carrion is not a republican candidate and he can't get a wilson Piccola if any registered republican is running see.. http://politicker.com/2013/03/bronx-republican-party-endorses-joe-lhota-for-mayor/. why is that candidate listed if mr black kite is not objecting to my listing as a republican ..whats up with that....I insist that my candidacy not be impaired by partisan anonymous users of wiki.. all edits must come from email requests with full name address and phone numbers for confirmations..to administration of wiki. show where im not a candidate or go away and list everyone and lock the page. enough time spent on wiki edits, since 20 march 2013...

Mr Iwachiw[edit]

You should Google this guy; it's fascinating. Sued NYC for $1.6B in damages. Perennial candidate; ran for Mayor on the Green ticket in 2001. Vexatious litigant. For example. --jpgordon::==( o ) 23:59, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Mr jpgordon so you are clearly impartial.please refrain from slander..who are you working for.please provide your name address and contact info thanks..just stick to the facts and remove the block as im appealing again...iwachiw2001

clearly mr jpgordon is a partisan actor working for one of the other candidatesIwachiw2001 (talk) 00:15, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

As noted, you have been blocked for violating our policy on edit warring. Until this is addressed, you will not be unblocked. Kuru (talk) 00:37, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

please check the nyc campaign finance website http://www.nyccfb.info/candidates/ you will see that i am one of the declared candidates walter n iwachiw.

additionally, you will see that mr carrion is not a republican party member and should not be listed under republicans. http://politicker.com/2013/02/adolfo-carrion-says-hes-running-for-mayor-with-or-without-the-republican-party/

someone needs to list all the candidates and lock the page... this warring is not about 3 rev violations its about erasure by several members.

i ask that you review the web sites and have administration appoint an election expert to maintain the page

thank you iwachiw2001 iwachiw4mayor.net

Request reason:

the issue is not 3 rev violation is is deletion of factual information by partisan interests, i am the candidate and verified as such but the page continues not to list walter iwachiw as republican party declared candidate restore the correct version not the partisan versionIwachiw2001 (talk) 1:09 am, Today (UTC+0)

Decline reason:

No, the issue really is your three-revert violation. Until you address that, you will not be unblocked - protestations such as: "it's not fair", "my information was correct", "everyone else is biased" just don't cut it. If you persist in posting irrelevant unblock appeals that do not address the behaviour that lead to the block, you will lose your ability to edit this page as well. Blocked[edit]

Since your reaction to being denied an unblock was to continue to edit (or enlist others to edit for you), your block has been extended to indefinite. Someguy1221 (talk) 03:29, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
