Information icon Hello, I'm AgisdeSparte. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Eldridge Cleaver—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Turk (rapper), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Juvenile. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:07, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Thedarkknightli. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Halle Berry, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Thedarkknightli (talk) 20:45, 13 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Kanye West, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Also see WP:INFOBOXPURPOSE; information should generally not appear in the infobox if it is not featured in the article body. Throast {{ping}} me! (talk | contribs) 06:16, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Kanye West produced for KonMan Entertainment per credit of booklet of cam'ron's Come Home With Me, so why delete my edit? JuanBoss105 (talk) 11:09, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You've now provided a source but still haven't incorporated the information into the article body. Please do so. As I stated above, the infobox is not supposed to supplant information not found in the article body. Throast {{ping}} me! (talk | contribs) 12:00, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Can you explain what you mean by I haven't incorporated the information into the article's body? I do not understand JuanBoss105 (talk) 12:03, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The article body is the part of the article that starts after the lead section. I suggest adding a sentence or two to Kanye West#Musical career. Throast {{ping}} me! (talk | contribs) 12:33, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Understood, I will. JuanBoss105 (talk) 12:45, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
When do you plan on doing that? If you're not going to add it to the article body, it will inevitably be removed again. Throast {{ping}} me! (talk | contribs) 18:46, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Alright I'm did it now in the musical career page JuanBoss105 (talk) 18:50, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please add a citation to a reliable source that supports this addition. Throast {{ping}} me! (talk | contribs) 19:00, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The thing is there arent really articles acknowledging KonMan, my knowledge comes from the liner notes of albums that he worked on. JuanBoss105 (talk) 19:03, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Could I use my source in the label section JuanBoss105 (talk) 19:04, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No. That source only supports the fact that West was president of the label at one point in time. It does not support the addition you made. If there are no reliable sources discussing the label, it can't be included. Simple as that. Throast {{ping}} me! (talk | contribs) 19:17, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
So why can't KonMan stay as a label? JuanBoss105 (talk) 19:33, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I just explained it to you. What exactly don't you understand? Throast {{ping}} me! (talk | contribs) 19:38, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Dude, it doesn't really need to be added to the main article. My citation already has a source. There's really no issue with it, its like your making it a big deal by having it included in the main article. Mercury Records and Late Orchestration isn't included in the main article but its still listed in the label area, so why does mine have to be included? JuanBoss105 (talk) 19:41, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Had you read my very first message to you, you would know why and this wouldn't have gone on for so long. WP:INFOBOXPURPOSE says that information should generally not appear in the infobox if it is not featured in the article body. Same goes for every other label in the infobox. Throast {{ping}} me! (talk | contribs) 19:44, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Why isnt Mercury Records added? JuanBoss105 (talk) 19:58, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Because Mercury Records UK was marketed and promoted the Late Orchestration album for Europe especially CD, while Island Def Jam for video release in selected countries. Plus label means a brand or trademark of music recordings, as usually printed in physical release cover as any logos. 2402:1980:247:1269:0:0:0:1 (talk) 03:27, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours has an edit summary that appears to be inadequate, inaccurate, or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Hey, your reasoning makes no sense, and I've played the game. I change words and take out less important stuff to comply with Wikipedia's rules of making plotlines short and to the point. Who says chopped away, its chipped away. And I actually fixed words like avial and cowarding that are incorrect, but you must not have been paying attention. Unless you get paid for this, stand down because you don't look like you know what you're doing is not appropriate. You've been warned and blocked. Please stop your disruptive editing. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 23:38, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Soetermans Ok well how about you don't talk to me with an attitude. I didnt have a problem with you until you had your attitude. If you refrain from talking with an attitude than i won't talk in a manner that is not appropriate? Thats fair right? JuanBoss105 (talk) 23:49, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please keep discussions in one place, you don't have to post the same message on my talk page. JuanBoss105, you've been blocked twice in June and have several warnings on your talk page. But you take umbrage with "Not an improvement and making actors into character piped links makes no sense"? soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 00:03, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Soetermans Yes I take umbrage because I don't appreciate your tone and the fact that I actually did make improvements by attempting to shorten the storyline section to meet Wikipedia's standard of making storyline sections straight to the point as well as corrected incorrect words and you reverted my edits like they were nothing. Yes, I take umbrage with that. JuanBoss105 (talk) 01:12, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know what tell you. Your talk page makes it clear you have an issue with editing and making unnecessary piped links is not constructive. You have been here for nearly a year. I am not going to gently hold your hand and try to get you to edit better. You don't have to be here, but if you do, WP:COMPETENCE is required. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 08:05, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Soetermans Trust me, I'm not asking you or anyone to hold my hand. Also, you're taking this whole thing way too serious. While I acknowledge that no one wants to have inaccurate information in Wikipedia, there is no need to give anyone attitude or make it seem like my edits are so bad. So, for future reference, I won't use unnecessary piped links, and in the future hopefully your feelings won't get so hurt over something so little. JuanBoss105 (talk) 08:25, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @JuanBoss105. Someone suggested that change "Label" to "Distributor" or something. Your comments are appreciated. Regards. 2001:D08:2930:A1B0:17B3:9F9B:CADE:A00E (talk) 04:26, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I appreciate that my comments are appreciated but in what context that someone suggested changing label to distributor. JuanBoss105 (talk) 04:37, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the {{proposed deletion/dated}} tag from Before_the_Beast, which you proposed for deletion. Article was previously deleted at WP:AfD and cannot be PROD'd. If you wish to see it gone, take it to AfD again.. If you still think this article should be deleted, please do not add {{proposed deletion}} back to the page. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks!

Hi Juan. In the recent discussion about "Release history" table, Andrew318 said that those are distributors, not labels. So if you have any further comments. Regards. 2001:D08:2901:BD3:17E0:8478:7C02:50DE (talk) 10:30, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Redirecting articles

[edit]

In order to properly redirect articles, you need to remove all of the article content (you should leave the categories). Just inserting the redirect template is not correct procedure. As for what you redirected, I have no issue with most, except an album by Bizzy Bone that charted on several Billboard charts—that indicates notability per WP:NALBUMS, so if you have any concerns about its notability now that I've restored the article, please nominate it for deletion at wP:AFD. Thanks. Ss112 14:54, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. No problem with the Bizzy Bone album, just the SSC albums should be removed. I understand. JuanBoss105 (talk) 15:07, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I understand now and will remove all article content before redirection. I started this today so I'm learning. JuanBoss105 (talk) 15:08, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
