Coppa Italia badges on season articles
[edit]Hi. Sorry for the mass reverts on the Coppa Italia season articles, they aren't vandalism, but it was the only way I could quickly revert them; generally badge icons such as the Coppa Italia badge and the Scudetto badge for Serie A titles are not used at the end of the article on the English wiki per WP:FANCRUFT. Regards, Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 04:38, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
- Tables are not necessary to list winners at the end of the article. If you want, make infoboxes that list the winners or expand the lead, it is a much better display of information. Thanks. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 22:14, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
Okay, but I think the winning list is good summary. [JuveWinC]
- Why are you changing the built in a.e.t and penalty shootout from the football boxes for Coppa Italia matches that link these articles with you own AET and p.? It doesn't make sense. I appreciate you trying to add more info to the older Coppa Italia articles, but try and do so following how the new articles are done. There is no need to get rid of already proper syntax from the football boxes. Perhaps focus on adding goalscorers, that is what the articles are lacking especially for the earlier rounds. Do not change the syntax of the match boxes. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 17:45, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- Also if you could please use the proper dashes for the match scores, "–" not "-". The "–" can be found at the bottom ribbon of the editing window, or can be copied and pasted from elsewhere on Wikipedia. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 16:20, 20 January 2019 (UTC)
- Hi. If you're going to use the initials before club names such as A.S. Roma, leave it as A.S. Roma, why are you putting it as AS Roma? Also, for simplicity, the names are often left as Roma with no initials. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 16:08, 23 January 2019 (UTC)
- Why have you done exactly what I said is not supposed to be done after I've already warned you? Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 13:31, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
- I really appriate you creating the rest of the Coppa Italia articles, but please, if you do, follow the practices we use here. Thanks. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 13:32, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
OK, but I just would like unified pages. Not Inter Milan, not Inter Milano, not Inter... Internazionale. Not Verona... Hellas Verona. Not U.C. Lecce... Lecce. In most pages: AC Milan, AS Roma, Hellas Verona, Internazionale... In just a few pages: Roma, Inter Milan...etc. I'm precise, I would like an unitary shaping. (Sorry, my english is bad) JuveWinC......https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:JuveWinC
- I get you want consistency, I do too. But we pipe club names like I showed above Roma NOT AS Roma, we use – NOT - for scores, we use a.e.t. linked by using |aet=yes. Things like this should have been taken into account when creating all the articles. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 13:48, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
- Also, the cities of referees are not added to the football boxes unlike the Italian wikipedia. Before adding things en mass, look at recent Coppa Italia articles, we don't do that. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 16:59, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
---OK, I deleted it. (JuveWinC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 16
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 1982–83 Coppa Italia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Stadio Comunale (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

References
[edit]Hello, I have contacted you previously about creating unreferenced articles but have then come across this: 1968–69 Coppa Italia. DO you know how to reference your articles? By' external links' do you actually mean that this is your source? Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 19:53, 20 January 2019 (UTC)
Hello :) Yes, the 'external links' is my source. But now I repaired it: External links --> References. Thanks, JuveWinC.
- Transfermarkt is not a WP:reliable source, please do not add it by consensus of WP:FOOTY. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 16:57, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
OKay, I suspected.
1958–59 Coppa Italia moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, 1958–59 Coppa Italia, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 13:04, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
- @CASSIOPEIA: This is a football competition which has evidently taken place, and he provided the widely accepted football source rsssf [1] for the competition. He's remade the 1958–59 Coppa Italia outside the draft, so if you know how to do a histmerge, please do. Thanks. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 14:15, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
- hi JuveWinC, Greetings to you. the source provided is considered random sport report which can not be use to support the notbility of the subject. If you would if anything on the matches, players played on the matches, background info of the completion of for year from any major newspaper in any language then pls provide inline citation ( see referencing for beginners for info and instructions) that would suffice to meet the notability requirements. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 14:23, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
- @CASSIOPEIA: Being a major football competition, all season articles are notable in itself. WP:NSEASONS. "Articles can be created on individual seasons of teams in top professional leagues, as these articles almost always meet the notability". Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 14:26, 31 January 2019 (UTC)

1926–27 Coppa Italia
[edit]Hi. Thanks for completing all of the Coppa Italia articles. Have you forgotten to complete 1926–27 Coppa Italia? You started it, but it is still empty. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 17:51, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks. I'll do it tomorrow. - Finito ;) /JuveWinC/
- Grazie tante. The community appreciates it. Just please keep in mind our conventions, and if you ever have any questions please ask me or WT:FOOTY. Saluti, Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 15:55, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
- Don't space the scorelines like that, please. Again, look at our conventions before doing a mass change! Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 15:51, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
- Okay, sorry. I remembered badly to the conventions.
- Dear Vaselineeeeeeee★★★! I make the 'Coppa Italia finals' pages. Please delete the wrong links in 'Finals': 1962, 1976, 1978, 1985 and 1986. Thanks.
- All you have to do is go to the redirect page and start writing. To do this, when you click on 1976 Coppa Italia Final for example, go to the top of the page and click the small blue link under the title name that says "(Redirected from 1976 Coppa Italia Final)". From there you can edit the page and remove "#REDIRECT 1975–76 Coppa Italia#Final". Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 15:55, 17 February 2019 (UTC)
- I want to thank you for creating the remaining Coppa Italia season and final articles, the project thanks you for it. I hope you continue this, maybe with Juve season articles, but keep in mind our conventions, which I think you've gotten the hang of for the most part. One other thing I want to note is that for players before 1946, we use with Italy not . It is also better to write out the date in full. Regards, Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 16:29, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
- How many times will it take to tell you to stop putting the AC and AS abbreviations for Milan and Roma? If anything, it is A.C., but we don't need it either way! Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 03:06, 27 March 2019 (UTC)

- 1. I didn't use it nowhere "AS"...
- 2. I used on the full Coppa Italia pages "AC Milan"...
- 3. The name of AC Milan until 1943 was MilanO (as Ambrosiana-Inter, Internazionale...). I wanted tell the difference between "AC Milan" and "Milano". I would like an uniform design. /JuveWinC/
- A.C. Milan is known as simply Milan. Their official name is not Milano. A.C. or AC is not necessary. When Inter is listed, they are either listed as Inter, Inter Milan or Internazionale. Milan for A.C. Milan is all that is needed. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 17:07, 28 March 2019 (UTC)
Hi! I corrected on every Coppa Italia and Serie A pages "AC Milan" ---> "Milan". But my information suggests that Felice Borel scored 32 goals in 1933-34 Serie A: https://www.myjuve.it/players-juventus-season-1933-34/felice_ii-borel-goals-scored-overall-27-Tot-38.aspx What is the official source? /JuveWinC/
- Thanks. I think RSSSF should be the source we use - it is also how the Italian Wikipedia displays the info. http://www.rsssf.com/tablesi/italtops.html Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 12:58, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
