The section refers to New Den-O. Not Mini Den-O who is still Ryotaro.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 18:29, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re: User tak:KenYokai

[edit]

Well, why is Kotaro mentioned twice as being possessed by Den-O's Imagin?

Mini Den-O is still Ryotaro. Kotaro is always New Den-O now.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 00:46, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Uirusu

[edit]

ウィルス is never read as "Bairasu". And ウィルス (which is wirusu) is one fo the various ways "virus" is written in Japanese, as it is a Latin or German loan word, rather than an English one.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 18:03, 16 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Again, I cannot read katakana, so I couldn't tell what that said.
We have katakana tables for this purpose.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 18:57, 16 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Roket & Rader

[edit]

Toei/Bandai/TV Asahi have been all over the board with names so far. To be safe, we'll use the correct English because "Rocket" and "Radar" have appeared in print materials, while "Roket" and "Rader" have only appeared in the show in graphics we will probably never see again.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 23:08, 4 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • I kind of realize that; "Rader", I'm sure of, but "Rocket": the graphic wasn't too easy to tell.

Fractyl

[edit]

As part of a new proposal so Fractyl's less-than-perfect episode summaries are not made live, he will be writing drafts that we can choose to improve upon before they are posted on the articles. I am sending you this message to notify you that all of his summaries will appear on User:Fractyl/Summaries, and it will be a group decision as to whether or not his content can be adapted into the mainspace.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 20:33, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

100 Oku

[edit]

億 is one hundred million (100,000,000). 100億 is (100 × 100,000,000 = 10,000,000,000) ten billion.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 18:18, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • What's worse than my lack of knowledge of katakana: my knowledge of kanji. In the Kanji translation of the Billy The Rod (are you sure that's right, yet?) Limit Break, I could only identify a 100, & I forgot that "Oku" was 100,000,000 (from Kamen Rider OOO episode 39), so I was left to assume a typo (which made a little more sense (& may do so still, if I forget this))
    • Large Japanese numbers are confusing. And "Billy The Rod" is official (on toy ads and whatnot).—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 18:53, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
      • Let's wait until next week; Billy The Rod sounds too cheesy for a weapon's name. More like "Awesome! I've got a rod! What should I name it? I've got it: Billy!"

"Title doesn't sound Japanese"

[edit]

Do not change the romanizations, again. The words in Japanese have been split along a point that does not make a proper separation of the syllables. 一途 is "Itto", 鉄騎 is "Tekki", 月下 is "Gekka", and 学校 is "Gakkō". Because they are not split down the middle easily, I have chosen to split them as such to show that they are two parts of the same word (the first kanji has a っ at the end of its reading, which doubles the next consonant, so I have taken the next consonant and put it next to the first syllable). Your changes to make them appear to be "more Japanese" has turned them into completely nonsense words.—Ryulong (竜龙) 01:27, 27 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Red Rocker & Magichand

[edit]

Those are the red switches on the belt that activate the Astro Switches.

Also, all the Astro Switch English names are here (missing Chainarray, Winch, Flash, Stealth, Hammer, Water, & Medical).—Ryulong (竜龙) 20:40, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Saezima & other issues

[edit]

This spelling has been used in the official materials in Japan when they write Kouga's surname in the English alphabet. Just because the name is written with kanji does not mean that the production company in Japan is not allowed to use Zi instead of Ji (both are valid romanizations of the sound, the latter is just is what is commonly used on Wikipedia). For example, Yazima Beauty Salon has the same kanji in its name, but they officially use Zi instead of Ji. Also, ヴァ is the way the Japanese write the syllable "va". Silva's name is Shiruva in Japan. Not Shiruba.—Ryulong (竜龙) 20:44, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, "airdate" is a word. And punctuation like commas and periods only go inside quotation marks if it is dialog.—Ryulong (竜龙) 20:46, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • I couldn't recall if I read the "va" or "ba" syllable when I read Silva's romanji name earlier (if I even did!); I'm also not entirely used to hearing the "v" in Japan (& my 1st non-US tokusatsu I read about, used it once, ironically), since its kind of rare (in my experience), for starters.
We have the katakana for the name and it uses the katakana I told you it does. That is V and not B. The V form is rarely used when the English word "silver" is part of Japanese names, but this is a case where it is. Could you please not try to change romanization things in the future if you do not have a good knowledge of the romanization schemes and rules?—Ryulong (竜龙) 07:00, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Since I didn't see the romanji pronunciation of "Silva", it really didn't make sense why the "v" was used in his name (in Japan), but I will make sure (table slap somewhere in there) not to do so again! & while I've got it on my mind, I ended up changing words like airdate & Magichand because I use Safari web browser & it doesn't recognize those words in that way

Last One & other issues

[edit]

"Last One State" is not a proper noun in Kamen Rider Fourze. Only "Last One" is.

Also, your summaries seem to be missing relevant words from them to produce coherent sentences. In addition, it is not professional to refer to the characters solely as "Fourze" or "Meteor".—Ryulong (竜龙) 21:50, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • I added Fractyl's episode synopsis because I couldn't handle the lack of TWO episode synopsis's & he had one (plus, I couldn't remember the whole thing).

Do not use the phrase "Last One State". "Last One" is the only proper noun in that phrase. We only refer to it as the "Last One state" because we have no proper noun from the series to describe what happens when the Zodiarts Switch gets the spikes.—Ryulong (竜龙) 20:11, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Again, with Safari, it recognizes "Last One state", but thinks "state" should be "State".

Well, just fix it before you press save.—Ryulong (竜龙) 20:19, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Typos

[edit]

Don't correct typos if the name is Japanese. You've already said you cannot read the characters so if there's an error, notify either myself or AlienX2009. On the Akibaranger page, someone did screw up the names, but you fixed them to the wrong version. Also, on the Zodiarts page today, the "Cygnus" that's the fake hero is written differently in Japanese than the Zodiarts name.—Ryulong (竜龙) 20:17, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • On Cygnus, I was not at all sure; same English spelling, different katakana...& on Akibaranger, I don't know what went through my mind to do that

Okay. Don't correct any more typos unless it's an English word. There's a reason I used "Kaziru" on Vaglass.—Ryulong (竜龙) 20:33, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I thought I told you not to correct what you consider "typos" anymore. There is a reason I wrote "Kisaragi Motorcycle Engineering" and not "Kisaragi Motors".—Ryulong (竜龙) 19:17, 18 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

On the latest episode of Kamen Rider Fourze, I haven't watched it yet; I'm waiting until it's subbed first, so I went based on pronounciation

Don't base it on pronunciation in the future. Just trust us who have watched it or are reading the various official websites.—Ryulong (竜龙) 23:49, 18 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"CB-01 Ace"

[edit]

Do not refer to the robot as the "CB-01 Ace". It is the "Go-Buster Ace".—Ryulong (竜龙) 19:31, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Believed you long before you had to say that; to what I know though, "CB-01 Ace" is the only name that was at all given (in show continuity) for the Go-Buster Ace, hence why I've used it.
It does not matter. It's known as the "Go-Buster Ace" in real life. Also, you've screwed up in translating kōhai. It does not mean "Junior Year". It means the subordinate in a Senpai/Kōhai relationship.—Ryulong (竜龙) 22:29, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • On the episode translation, & considering the high school setting, that's what I thought "kohai" meant: "Junior" as in "Junior Year", & putting two & two together (from what I learned about Japanese schooling during the Cygnus story arc), I thought this was a mistake.
For the last freaking time, stop correcting things you assume are typos.—Ryulong (竜龙) 19:27, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I was not sure about the abbreviation of "Subaruboshi High School" & whether "Subaru Boshi" should be translated (I'm not entirely sure what the term talks about, if it's not the school) I was not sure of either.

"Club"

[edit]

If the word "Club" is on its own, even if referring to the Kamen Rider Club, "Club" should not be capitalized, particularly if it is part of the phrase "the club".—Ryulong (竜龙) 03:05, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Do not turn standalone parts of proper nouns into proper nouns. If it's "the buckle" do not turn it into "the Buckle". I cannot keep repeating this to you. It is not a typo.—Ryulong (竜龙) 18:55, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Well, they refer to proper nouns, don't they?
But they are not proper nouns unto themselves so don't capitalize them. Also, don't put a space before reference tags and book titles are italicized, not underlined.—Ryulong (竜龙) 18:48, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

When you write things, please do not put a space after the final sentence and a reference. They need to be flush up to each other otherwise it does not appear correctly.—Ryulong (竜龙) 19:33, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Never knew I did that (though it was an accident)
You keep doing it. And please sign your comments.—Ryulong (竜龙) 19:32, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Stop fixing typos when it's not an English word. The character is not "Erin". It's "Erinne" which is a French form. You screwed up "Gene God" into "Gene Goto" and a bunch of other things. Please. Just stick to fixing English language words, unless someone's actually screwed up a mispelling of a name.—Ryulong (竜龙) 01:43, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • I didn't think "Gene God" sounded right, but I figured it out (for sure) with last week's episode of "Kamen Rider Fourze"; the "Erinne" thing was that this was added already & the spelling was "Erin" not "Erinne", which I was unsure of since she didn't appear yet Stephen Knight 02:01, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
What did I tell you about correcting typos? Her name in Japanese is not in any way similar to how you say "Erin" in English. It may be "Erin" because I saw the Aquarius pun but エリーヌ is Erīnu. ヌ is nu. ン is n. Do not correct any Japanese language words again because you have no clue as to how the language works.—Ryulong (竜龙) 00:37, 27 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Also do not sign your comments as "Stephen Knight". It should be "KenYokai".—Ryulong (竜龙) 00:40, 27 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    • Might I ask why that I should sign my comments as "KenYokai"? I gotta have some individuality & I get bored easily!

Spellings

[edit]

Please make note of the spellings we use on the English Wikipedia. We use "Morphin Brace", not "Morphin' Brace", and "Go-Buster Oh", not "Go-Buster-Oh".—Ryulong (竜龙) 23:08, 3 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've told you time and time again, do not correct things in Japanese that you perceive as typographic errors. There is perhaps a reason as to why it was written that way. I know that it was not obvious that いとくとら was not "Itokutora", but there was obviously a reason as to why the to's were omitted from her romanized name. If you continue to do this, I will have to report you to the proper channels.—Ryulong (竜龙) 00:34, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Well, right after the hiragana, the name was "Itokutora", which through me off (I didn't attempt to pay attention to said hiragana, at least)
It was not obvious that the To sounds were not supposed to be pronounced in the name, but that was an error on Areaseven's part by adding them in for the romanization in the first place. She is "Ikura", but it just happens to be spelled as "Itokutora".—Ryulong (竜龙) 00:48, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I keep telling you, do not put a space before <ref>.—Ryulong (竜龙) 23:35, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • I apparently do not realize I am doing this KenYokai 23:46, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
And yet you keep doing it. Also do not refer to "Beet J. Stag" as "Beet" if you are just using that on its own. Use "Jay".—Ryulong (竜龙) 19:27, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I keep telling you to use full names of Kamen Riders, don't put a space between the final sentence and the reference, use particular spellings, but you keep doing it. Can't you just check everything in full, knowing full well that I want you to make sure you don't do all of these things, before you save your summary?—Ryulong (竜龙) 19:39, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
And also, I found your summary for the Go-Busters episode a bit confusing. You are using awkward phrasing that makes it seem you removed things or you meant to add something later that adds more onto the sentence. Would you take a look at my edits and see what you were trying to say?—Ryulong (竜龙) 19:43, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
There are things that I'm not 100% sure of at that time: spellings (based off of the Japanese phonetic spelling), the added spaces if I do (expect for <ref>, which honestly lands there; I don't do that willfully!), which I have learned to do and I leave alone unless I notice a missing punctuation mark; others, like <ref>...as I said not very long ago, land there without my knowledge and/or doing; and it's been a week since I last recalled watching that episode of Go-Busters
I kee' telling you to fix these things but you keep screwing them up. Your sentence structure is poor. I can barely understand most of the events going on and I have to clean up after you. And we have not used "Heracles" anywhere on Wikipedia after it was revealed that the thing is called "Hercules" in Japan. And finally, it's not that hard to remove the space before you finish writing the section.—Ryulong (竜龙) 22:38, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    I'm actually (& accidentally) overlooking that space when I finish the section.KenYokai 22:40, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
Just check that damn space. ANd also check other pages for spellings before you save the page. I do not know where you pulled "Aria Donelle" from, when it's "Ariadone Biru" (Ariadne Building) in Japan.—Ryulong (竜龙) 19:55, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Episode lists

[edit]

Why am I the only one adding the new episode summary every week? I'm not up at 8 am to add these to the pages so it would help if you helped take care of it.—Ryulong (琉竜) 06:55, 24 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Wait until the next episode (of at least "Juden Sentai Kyoryuger") airs & I'll do it out of OCD.

Going through old edits

[edit]

I've just discovered you moved Kamen Rider Diend after an IP unilaterally changed every instance of "Diend" to "DiEnd". I'm aware that this was in September but in the future double check as to who is doing what because I've just had to clean up a ton of articles based on one IP's idea of how the names should be spelled.—Ryulong (琉竜) 15:11, 30 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

God damn it why did you move "Deboss Army" to "Deboth Army"? Couldn't you figure out from the page history that it was the action of only a few people? Where is this "Deboth" spelling coming from anyway?—Ryulong (琉竜) 20:14, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

cchi

[edit]

This is not used in Hepburn. Use "tchi" instead.—Ryulong (琉竜) 02:36, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Also, we use "Canderrilla". Not "Canderilla" (also it's "Wilson" and not "Virsun"). Please make sure you use the internal spellings on Wikipedia and not some fansub's spellings.—Ryulong (琉竜) 13:26, 3 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I read these spellings first ON Wikipedia ironically so I took it to be correct thus they are in my user dictionary for my Chromebook
Well you need to reset your Chromebook dictionary because those names are all wrong. Also, your episode summaries are missing so much information. You give absolutely no context to half of the stuff you wrote. I filled in the blanks as best as I could figure out because I haven't seen the episode yet. Look at the changes I had to make. Why are they looking for Rika? Where is Rika while Nobuharu and Yuko are trapped in the illusion? Why is she helping the Kyoryugers? You just list this information as if everyone is supposed to know. I have no idea what is going on in this episode. You need to write more clearly and provide more context.—Ryulong (琉竜) 16:00, 14 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
How do I reset this dictionary without having to Power Wash my Chromebook again (had a little bit of a problem the first time & I thought that would be necessary to solve it)?rdct and stop using "Canderilla".—Ryulong (琉竜) 03:30, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Also your summaries are missing a bunch of essential words for them to actually make sense.—Ryulong (琉竜) 03:32, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ugh, your summaries are full of grammatical errors, awkward phrasing, and spelling errors of certain terms. We use "Pteraiden-oh" here. And "At that time" and the other phrases you use do not make sense in proper English.—Ryulong (琉竜) 02:06, 21 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you do not respond to this message I will escalate this situation. Why didn't you mention that "Deboth" appeared on screen? That would have made things easier.Ryulong (琉竜) 06:06, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I never responded recently because I never thought about it; also, I used "Pteraidenoh" because that was what I was used to, not thinking that it may be the wrong spelling & I just saw Juden Sentai Kyoryuger episode 14 last night, which had that spelling "Deboth" on the "Deboth Text" that was already mentioned before my edits
It is general courtesy to acknowledge the fact that you have received any sort of message on your talk page. And I saw no mention of a "Deboth Text" before your edits. In generaly, try to use the spellings on Wikipedia and fix your autocorrect stuff.—Ryulong (琉竜) 13:24, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
OK. Also, the Deboth Text was added just before I edited the Deboth Army page

Fix your grammar and use the internal spellings. I am still seeing issues with your episode summaries. You structure sentences weirdly and in a way that does not make sense or give context to anything else. Tell me, are you from Malaysia or Singapore? Because I see these mistakes very often due to the mixing of Bahasa grammar and English words.—Ryulong (琉竜) 17:32, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm unfortunately American...but I'm trying my best to check my grammar (as I edit everything, though, I hear no errors)
How odd. Your sentence structure really could use some improvement. The way you write things now does not work. Maybe stop describing things that aren't as important to the plot first. Like in the Dogold's Ambition summary you mention that Kyoryu Red uses the Archenolon Zyudenchi while trying to discuss what Nobuharu is doing. I think you should explain why that is important because there's no context to it (and also you did not complete the thought). Also, stop relying on your computer's autocorrect for non-English terms.—Ryulong (琉竜) 03:18, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that my English is as good as the average teen, but I use Fractyl's episode summaries as it's been about a week or 2 since I last saw the episode itself when my OCD wants to add the summary; & I don't quite trust the computer's autocorrect when it's confirmed how to spell a word...I use my own autocorrect: my brain
Okay, I haven't felt that English wasn't my best subject! (it feels to be around the bottom 2)

Bioman revert

[edit]

Exactly what part of my edits did you think were vandalism? - Areaseven (talk) 16:06, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • I wasn't even sure it was, but the names from the Bioman dub seemed out of place; I couldn't think of what to put as an edit summary really. KenYokai 01:22, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
That was not my edit. I reverted an edit by someone who never learned his lesson about using dub names, then cleaned up the "International broadcasts" section before that mess you made. Next time, pay attention to the more recent edits before you falsely accuse someone of vandalism. - Areaseven (talk) 01:06, 5 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I wasn't trying to accuse anyone; I saw the (to my knowledge) latest edit to the page and reverted it. I had just woken up around this time so my brain was switching on and I couldn't think of how to describe the edit.KenYokai 01:08, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
On what grounds did you revert the edit, then? - Areaseven (talk) 01:21, 5 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The exact same ones you did, save that you didn't have the Bioman dub names. KenYokai 01:22, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
You didn't answer my question. WHY did you do that revert? - Areaseven (talk) 01:25, 5 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I got an e-mail saying that the page was edited; I saw the edit, looked off & I never new there were other editsKenYokai 01:28, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
First of all, it's knew, not "new". And second, like I mentioned awhile ago, pay attention to the more recent edits before making a judgment call - especially on an article you have never edited before. - Areaseven (talk) 01:31, 5 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
OK & on the "knew"...I never knew that I forgot to press the "k" key until you caught it KenYokai 01:32, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
By the way, all the edits I reverted without knowing were made while I was asleep...in a bed. KenYokai 01:37, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
So basically, you're making excuses instead of simply apologizing and admitting you made a mistake. - Areaseven (talk) 03:52, 5 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Not on purpose but I never meant to do so anyways cause all this KenYokai 03:53, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
What? - Areaseven (talk) 04:10, 5 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I was never meant to cause all this trouble...or, I guess, use my habit of defending KenYokai 15:22, 5 July 2013 (UTC)

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. If you've modified your signature in a way that does not link back to your talk page, you should reset your signature to default.Ryulong (琉竜) 17:19, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dude, I'm not going to tell you, again. You need to reset your signature's settings to their defaults. You must have a link in your signature, because whenever you changed it to your real name you accidentally removed the link to your user page.—Ryulong (琉竜) 04:07, 5 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not in the mood to start a new section, if you see an IP editor adding a large insert song section to any Super Sentai page, revert him instead of correcting him. We've not had these insert songs on the pages for some time now and this guy has been adding them to everything from Timeranger to present. He just hit the Shinkenger page and will likely edit the Goseiger, Gokaiger, and Go-Busters pages as the night progresses.—Ryulong (琉竜) 17:36, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

When you see vandalism do not yell at the person who made it in an edit summary when reverting. Revert and report them to WP:AIV.—Ryulong (琉竜) 04:31, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • I don't mean or try to yell; Sometimes whenever I see a vandalized page that is on my watch list, I get a little furious at, what seems to be, negative publicity & can't see straight either. KenYokai (talk) 15:21, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Kamen Rider Wizard may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s and 2 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 18:48, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I just saw that you moved this page last year. If you look at the poster that's on the article, you'll see that "Ultraman Mebius & Ultraman Brothers" is in English.—Ryulong (琉竜) 06:22, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • I didn't see what was on the poster with the text being so small that I could not see that it was there; I just looked at the romanji for the film (which says "Urutora Kyodai", Ultra Brothers)KenYokai (talk) 14:38, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Looks big enough outside of thumbnail view. I've told you in the past not to correct things based on your own understanding of Japanese. The Ultraman films have official translated titles that for whatever reason are not literal translations of the katakana names. Now please make a statement on the talk page because I attempted to get a technical move request and it has instead become a full WP:RM discussion.—Ryulong (琉竜) 20:23, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry for having to accidentally doing this, but the text was too tiny for me to see that it was there at all. KenYokai (talk) 20:25, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You do know that talk pages are essential to Wikipedia right? That's where discussions are performed properly. Talking in edit summaries is considered rude.—Ryulong (琉竜) 04:40, 31 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

[edit]

Would you stop adding your emotional responses in every single time you revert vandalism? Revert it. Warn the individual on their talk page, then move on. You make a big deal out of it every single time.—Ryulong (琉竜) 23:28, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please read your episode summaries before you post them. The ones you put on the Kyoryuger page are full of such poor grammar and spelling errors.—Ryulong (琉竜) 21:55, 31 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm sorry but I have been busy for the past few weeks & I finally got around to posting these summaries & I never caught them (not that I have been watching Kyoryuger lately...which I haven't since episode 30) KenYokai (talk) 21:57, 31 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yggdrasil

[edit]

Please note that within the context of Kamen Rider Gaim, it is the "Yggdrasill Corporation", that is with two L's. Please stop using "Yggdrasil".—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 04:09, 14 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't quite figured that out yet, seeing that I'm just now getting into watching Kamen Rider Gaim; sorry KenYokai (talk) 04:26, 14 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

\== Episode summaries, again ==

I don't want to be rude, but could you please tighten up your grammar when you write new episode summaries? The one you wrote for Kyoryuger was just awful. There were so many sentences where I could not tell what you were trying to say, and I remember watching the episode so it barely made any sense. In the future, please do not write in the passive voice so much. Present the subject of the sentence first, and not after some weird discussion of another somewhat related topic. It is just very very very poor writing. And please try to keep details you discuss relevant. I cannot for the life of me figure out if Utsusemimaru talking to Genryu is at all important to the story, but I tried to leave it in regardless. I don't know if English is your first language, but please try to fix these things. Because if you can't fix them then there's really no point in writing these lengthy summaries (which are all too long anyway).—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 16:49, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm trying to make sure that these summaries for Kyoryuger are up to standards but there are things that I end up missing when I post these (& again, I haven't really been able to get back into watching Kyoryuger since episode 30 aired of the show so I am not for sure whether I am correct on these); either way, I'm finished (for sure) adding in episode summaries for Super Sentai in just a matter of 2 or 3 weeks (after Kyoryuger) so I'm sorry if I make errors but I'm trying my best to make sure that I have these up to standards. KenYokai (talk) 16:54, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Just stop writing these things in such a backwards manner. The subject of the sentence comes first. Don't write sentences like "After blah blah blah, SUBJECT does something".—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 17:22, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
fine KenYokai (talk) 17:24, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Just look at the changes I made.—Ryūlóng (琉竜) 17:36, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Help :))

[edit]

You speak Japanese, or at least have general knowledge about Japan, right? Please help me check the contribution history of this IP Special:Contributions/24.211.21.91. I reported it and it has been blocked, but I haven't undone all its revisions because I'm not sure if all of its edits are vandalism, since I don't live in Japan and don't speak Japanese. Thanks. 怪獣大行進

[edit]

怪獣大行進 = Kaijū dai kōshin. So why reverting my edit? --GODIZULLA (talk) 03:53, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Mostly, I took it that the game was in Japan "Monster Great Decisive Battle" which I know as "Kaiju Daikessen" so I thought it was a mistranslation; I have not learned what "Kaiju Dai Koshin" means yet KenYokai (talk) 03:55, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Means "Monster Parade". It is not Daikessen. Daikessen = 大決戦. Simple as that. --GODIZULLA (talk) 04:18, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Simple? I never heard of the word "koshin" until now nor can I read kanji/katakana/hiragana unless it is painfully obvious of the translation (which Wikipedia is usually not unless there is a picture of a movie poster, game cover, or TV show logo) lol KenYokai (talk) 04:33, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Don't use Engrish, ever

[edit]

Engrish is incorrect. It does not help the reader. It is deliberately misspelling words to demonstrate how a non-native speaker mispronounces them. Proper translation and transliteration theory rejects this usage. If a Japanese speaker is saying an English word, it should be spelled correctly when written in English. The article already included the Japanese title written in the Roman alphabet, for English speakers who cannot read Japanese script. Jay32183 (talk) 08:25, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Gaim Gaiden

[edit]

Why does the timeline that the movie takes place have to be on the sub section on the main Kamen Rider Gaim page and not the page on the movie itself? Or on the Gaim Gaiden page? That other guy keep posting this bad information all over the site and he doesn't know what should go where or what is and isn't important to talk about.--2601:140:8200:DE:4851:853A:7B57:3D2C (talk) 23:33, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Kamen Rider 1

[edit]

There's nothing on any of the Kamen Rider 1 movie material in Japan that comes close to saying that it's the Taisen movie for 2016. Nothing on http://www.superhero-movie.com/ says Kamen Rider Ghost or Zyuohger are going to be in the movie. Just because it has the release date of the planned Taisen movie doesn't mean this is going to be that Taisen movie. Until there's more about the movie, it's wrong to post information on the Ghost and Zyuohger pages that they're going to be involved when right now there's no proof. Stop posting wrong information just because you think it's right when you have no proof of it being right.--2601:140:8200:DE:C542:5C44:B46D:F45D (talk) 22:36, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Lupin VS. Pat

[edit]

Pat is counted as the 43rd team according to TV Tropes and Heroshock. While not actually proper sources according to Wikipedia's sourcing policies, it's at least enough to demonstrate that saying "Patranger is counted as the 43rd Super Sentai team" isn't just merely fan assumption hence my edit. —Mythdon 22:05, 23 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • oh. Considering the two teams shared the same 42nd Sentai spot in the terms of series, I wasn't sure if Lupinranger was for sure the 42nd team with Patranger being 43rd. I knew the two teams couldn't share the same 42nd team spot though KenYokai (talk) 22:11, 23 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

    • That has nothing to do with Wikipedia's standards for inclusion. Your reversion is completely without merit. It's referenced content of Yoshi Sudarso guest starring and not only are spoilers perfectly fine under WP:SPOILER, it's actually against WP:SPOILER to remove something just because it's a spoiler. Saying "that would detract people from wanting to watch something even though at the same time" does nothing but cater to the fanbase, which is the farthest from Wikipedia's aims. We are an encyclopedia, not a fansite.—Mythdon (talkcontribs) 03:15, 4 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Need help in the Ultraman page

[edit]

Yo, I need an urgent help. The user https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Oon835 has been adding poor copy paste translations from Japanese Wikipedia to Ultraman articles. I have been reverting his edits twice and he was also reverting an admin's edit. Can you observe his contribution list for a moment? I warned him twice back then (first I used excessive force, then I realized what I did was bad, so the second time I asked him nicely). If he did it again, I may as well resort to reporting his actions.

I mean look at his edit history! He sandwiched the cast section in between synopsis (above) and character list (below). He even disrupt the cast listing mode.

  • the first and second African-American Red Rangers, that is noteworthy but after that, it's more just trivia & not quite so noteworthy. And with Blaze, most of the notes I'm finding mentioning a villain suit being adapted are because they are from a different Sentai series than being adapted, or having modifications to an existing Sentai villain suit; unless the changes to the Dark Buster suit are super minor, it's the exact same suit only recreated due to the age of the original suit at best KenYokai (talk) 05:56, 28 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Shout Factory subs

[edit]

While I'm not in the position of arguing with an official subtitle, at least please, I'm telling you, try to actually do a little investigation instead of blindly following them. Just like the Zero One case, I was able to find evidences that stating "Zetsumetsu" is the actual naming. I mean heck, you can just access it on the official website. Zero stylinx (talk) 16:03, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • I actually had done a little bit of investigating this time cause I noticed on the Kamen Rider wiki, that there were mentions of the episode titles using Shout! Factory's Blu-ray release's titles but using the terms of previous US releases, they had been reverted there. I am honestly under the impression that these should be the correct English names cause this is the licensed release & especially with the spellings being a bit in the air with how the Japanese pronunciations sound, I just try to make it accurate especially when it was the older shows. TBH with Kamen Rider 01, I'm more confused about what is supposed to be official & what's not than just having prior knowledge of the parent company giving certain terms to the translation team like 3D system for Attack on Titan. Re: Soreo Hiden

[edit]

May I ask, what is your reasoning for reversing Soreo, the Humagear's, name? Is there a particular reason for it, because I'm not seeing any connection between this and other Humagears' name and the only reason I can think of for the name reversal thing is due to how Japanese names are listed, and yet you don't see us listing names like Hiden Aruto or Igarashi Ikki. Blazewing16 (talk) 01:00, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • All the Humagears even those that have a standard Japanese name have the personal name at the end; watching the licensed subtitled release of Kamen Rider 01, specifically episode 15, it occurred to me that despite being a Humagear version of a real person, his name was supposed to be Romanized backward the entire time, which especially could show if he had a Progrise Key KenYokai (talk) 21:49, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Kamen Rider Wizard characters

[edit]

I apologize, but I undid your edits. Yes, I get where you're coming from, but WP:SURNAME says characters are to be referred to by their surnames unless there are multiple people with the same surname. Look at Kamen Rider Revice. There are five people with the name Igarashi and two Karizakis in the series, so of course, we refer to all of them by their forenames. However, with series like Kamen Rider Wizard, which largely have one person with a unique surname in it, we are supposed to refer to them by that. Blazewing16 (talk) 02:06, 8 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ahh; I didn't know of that and I remembered seeing Haruto referred to in the past by his given name on the article, even if he's the only "Soma" that when I saw the name changed suddenly after not reading the article in a long time, it was like it was trying to confuse me without meaning to lol. I could understand with the Igarashis & Karizakis, I even changed George Karizaki to his given name when his dad (only known as "Karizaki" then) debuted cause of that same possible confusion KenYokai (talk) 02:44, 8 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Kamen Rider Revice characters

[edit]

Thank you for doing that. I didn't realize I was re-adding the unfinished material and based on the fan wiki, it doesn't seem that character played an important role anyway. Blazewing16 (talk) 00:40, 10 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • 1) no problem 2) I didn't know what the character did anyway since I haven't seen the Kamen Rider Revice: The Mystery yet; he might have been the God of the miniseries for what I know lol KenYokai (talk) 02:25, 10 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Power Rangers Dino Fury

[edit]

Admittedly, I should've said so in my edits, but I kept those last three season two Sporix Beasts hidden because I don't have all of the correct information on them yet and since I can't afford Netflix, I'm forced to wait for the fan wiki to be updated so I can ensure all of the information is correct despite my inability (and lack of desire, if I'm being honest; don't ask me why) to watch the show. Blazewing16 (talk) 01:39, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • I was about to add them myself until I realized they were all there but I rechecked, via your revert, the info & it looks accurate since I just finished the season so far myself, unless you wanted go to into more detail of things that the monsters did like how the first two were looking for Void Knight after he betrayed Void Queen. KenYokai (talk) 01:54, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • Yeah, something along those lines. I want to make sure all of the important information gets added to their entries before I add them properly. Also, I want to make sure who claimed which beasts' Sporix is accurate too. Blazewing16 (talk) 02:25, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
      • With the Sporix Beasts, while it's not been seen (except maybe once; I can't remember offhand) just since Void Queen's introduction, it can be presumed that the Rangers are the ones to claim them since Void Queen hasn't given any reason to claim them a second time & Void King's introduction apparently used the Sporix that were still in her possession. Was there a Mortal Kombat update I didn't know about?

[edit]

I saw what was there in Fatality (Mortal Kombat) and yeah, I saw two pins. I wonder if there was a sort of revision in the mainboard of the arcade cabinet that changed that? GreenGrenier (talk) 11:29, 6 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • When I saw your edit, I curiously looked it up & I found a video of an older MK game (for the PlayStation if I'm not mistaken, based on the emulator) apparently that had the same friendship, but it apparently ended differently than how you described it. I just wanted to see the friendship though KenYokai (talk) 18:21, 6 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough, though I am looking at the arcade version. I guess new trumps old, your edit stays. [wink] GreenGrenier (talk) 08:15, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
