ITN Candidates

Good morning! I simply wanted to thank you for trying to understand precisely what my intention was in my recent nomination at ITN candidates and, in a way, to reassure me. They have had a reaction that I did not expect and I suspect, in some cases, it probably somewhat personal. But don't feel forced to drag out the discussion if you feel it's not necessary. I'll see you around. Kind regards. _-_Alsor (talk) 06:32, 12 June 2023 (UTC)

No problem. I was just a little irritated because as I stated in my longer response, this whole narrative had come up once before last month when I was nominating the 2023 African Great Lakes floods. I'll try not to drag it out that much. - Knightoftheswords281 (Talk · Contribs) 07:07, 12 June 2023 (UTC)

DYK for 2023 Anheuser-Busch boycott

On 14 June 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article 2023 Anheuser-Busch boycott, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that after trans woman Dylan Mulvaney was sponsored by Bud Light, American conservatives boycotted the brand and its parent company Anheuser-Busch? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/2023 Anheuser-Busch boycott. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, 2023 Anheuser-Busch boycott), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

ITN "Needs attention"

Hi there. I saw your marking "Needs attention" for Pat Robertson Typically, "Needs attention" is reserved for an item ready for a close or not any/enough !votes. That case seems to have well-identified quality issues, which are still outstanding. The tag is generally not to solicit others to fix article problems. Let me know if you have any questions or comments. Regards. —Bagumba (talk) 10:13, 15 June 2023 (UTC)

Closing ITN sections

I don't see a point in marking every posted ITN submission with atop + abot. Administrators usually add it to the section title in addition to a comment, anything more is just unneeded bloat on the page and history. DatGuyTalkContribs 22:30, 29 June 2023 (UTC)

It was a test for ITN (see this discussion). - Knightoftheswords (Talk · Contribs) 15:17, 30 June 2023 (UTC)

Hipolito Mora

I saw you nommed it for RD. Thanks! I didn't know if it was worth nominating but you've found more coverage of him. I'll see if I find time to add your sources to the article. Anyways, hope you enjoy the weekend. — Ixtal ( T / C ) Non nobis solum. 11:26, 30 June 2023 (UTC)

No problem! For RDs on ITN, all nominations on ITN (per this 2016 reform) are eligible as long as they're a living organism. The only exception to this is if their article was created as a result of their death, but I believe that is superseded if they had enough notability to have an article before (which having looked at his coverage before the death and the Spanish equivalent article, seems to be fit for Mora). - Knightoftheswords (Talk · Contribs) 15:21, 30 June 2023 (UTC)
