Welcome!

Hello, Lauder 1996, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like Borrowed Heaven Tour, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Kotiwalo (talk) 11:43, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Creating new pages[edit]

Please do not create new pages in the main article space if you are unsure of the Wikipedia editing guidelines. There is a sandbox that you can use to test edits, or you can create your own sandbox (try here). You can create the page there, test the edits, make all the changes you want until the page looks the way you want, and then you can copy the finished product to the proper page. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:41, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

I see that you are cleaning up your Talk On Corner World Tour page. You should look at the Wikipedia guidelines for writing your first article (see the link above) before you get too deep into it. Know especially that your article will require proper citations to verify the information and to prove the notability of the information. These citations will need to be from independent, third-party sources (like newspaper reviews, music journal articles, etc). Happy Editing. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:59, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. You should know that the actual name of the album is Talk on Corners (note capitalization and plurals), so the proper name of the tour is the Talk on Corners World Tour. Your page will eventually have to be moved to reflect this. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:59, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Forgive Not Forgotten World tour requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

July 2009[edit]

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Talk on Corners World Tour, even if you intend to fix them later. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Scjessey (talk) 14:40, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A few suggestions[edit]

Clearly, you are a big fan of the Corrs, and know a lot about their touring history. Permit me to make a few suggestions so that your future articles here on Wikipedia can properly reflect this. First, read the Wikipedia guidelines above about creating articles, especially the guidelines about proper sources. Simply telling us what you know, without reference to published sources, is not really what Wikipedia is all about. Such unreferenced articles are likely to be deleted. Second, try creating your articles in a word processor such as Microsoft Word prior to copying them here to Wikipedia; and pay attention to the spelling and grammar error that Word points out. Your articles have been rife with such errors, and it is so easy to avoid them with the use of the proper tools. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:38, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop[edit]

Please stop adding unreferenced and incomplete articles to Wikipedia, as you did at Forgive Not Forgotten World tour. Such material is likely to be deleted, and your continuing to add such material may be seen as vandalism. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 18:38, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Corrs04.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Corrs04.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 06:24, 27 September 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 06:24, 27 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 01:32, 18 January 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. AfD nomination of Rihanna 2006 Tour and others[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated articles are Rihanna 2006 Tour, Rihanna Believe Tour. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to the relevant discussion pages: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rihanna 2006 Tour for Rihanna 2006 Tour, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rihanna Believe Tour for Rihanna Believe Tour. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:03, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Rihanna’s Secret Body Spray Tour has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The only source that was used was a fansite. Mini-tour that does not have established notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Fixer23 (talk) 05:37, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your now eligible for blocking[edit]

When other users revert you it is for a good reason. If you'd bothered to read the talk page you'll see that Loud Tour is not yet notable for its own page per Wikipedia:Notability_(music)#Concert_tours. A page simply listing dates is NOT required. When more information about the opening acts, the type of concert, the setup etc comes out then it will be notable. If you try to create the page again you can and maybe blocked. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 17:49, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sharon Corr (Tour) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. MikeWazowski (talk) 19:31, 12 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Rihanna's Secret Body Spray Tour has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article will never get beyond being a stub. The only two sources are unreliable. I've looked for sources to expand it, or just verify what is already here, but there is nothing available about it. This wasn't even a tour for the album, it was for a body spray.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
