April 2012[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to LNER Class A4 4468 Mallard, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Redrose64 (talk) 16:43, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to LNER Class A4 4468 Mallard. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. --Redrose64 (talk) 22:10, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. - You must not continue making unexplained and unsourced edits. Stop now. - David Biddulph (talk) 14:59, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - Are you not listening? - David Biddulph (talk) 16:16, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. I appreciate that you're trying to contribute to Wikipedia, but most of your recent edits haven't been very helpful. On Northeast Regional, you changed a valid infobox parameter to an invalid one. On Pioneer Zephyr you added text to a lede paragraph about its maximum speed which directly contradicted a previous sentence. You've repeatedly tried to add a non-existent image to Metroliner (Amtrak), and you seem confused about the distinction between that article (about the service) and Budd Metroliner (about the train). These and other edits mean that every one of your edits has to be checked by someone else for accuracy. Please consider being more careful going forward. It would also be really helpful if you started using Wikipedia:Edit summaries. Mackensen (talk) 17:24, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Budd Metroliner Electric Multiple Unit.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Budd Metroliner Electric Multiple Unit.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 00:45, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. You have replaced sourced material with non-sourced material on several train and railway pages. Newmanoconnor (talk) 20:57, 26 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 days for persistently editing in ways that, probably unintentionally, are unhelpful, and failing to take note of or respond to messages about the problems with your editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

You are suspected of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Lisapalomeque. Thank you.
