If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ava Addams, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. –Davey2010Talk 03:16, 21 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Orphaned non-free image File:2019 AVN Awards promo poster.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:2019 AVN Awards promo poster.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:23, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Suzanne Melk

[edit]

Hi. I just edited Suzanne Melk. Thanks for creating the article! Most of my changes were copy editing - things like changing a verb to past tense because it was discussing things in the past. There are a couple of tips I think might help you in your future editing:

  1. Figuring out what's a reliable source and what's not can be tricky sometimes. The Lulu.com book you linked to may be absolutely accurate, but because it's self-published, it's hard to know. That's why I tagged it as needing a better source.

Wikipedia's definitely not a reliable source, which is why I removed the link to Amazon Brasil: the book was a collection of Wikipedia articles. It makes sense: If I could say something outrageous and completely made-up in another article, then quote that as a reliable source, Wikipedia would be a disaster.

  2. Date formats vary around the world, and when someone sees 2019-02-08, they might think you're talking about August 2 instead of February 8. I usually prefer day-month-year: 8 February 2019. Some people prefer February 8, 2019. No matter how you write it, the important thing is to be clear, so readers and other editors will know the date you mean.

If you have any questions about the changes I made to the article, please feel free to ask. I'll keep this page on my watchlist for a while so you can reply to me here. Cheers, BlackcurrantTea (talk) 19:39, 18 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Magnolia677. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Williamsport Regional Airport, but you didn't provide a reliable source. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Notice

The article 2019 Williamsport mayoral election has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The city is only around 28,000 people, and there were only 5,000 votes cast. Not notable for a standalone article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Susquehanna Regional EMS

[edit]

Hello, Mrh787,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username BoyTheKingCanDance, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged Susquehanna Regional EMS for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. You may find our guide for writing quality articles to be extremely informative. Also, you may want to consider working on future articles in draft space first, where they cannot be deleted for lacking content.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|BoyTheKingCanDance}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
