Hardy Amies at Space Odyssey[edit]
Although it is true that costumer Hardy Amies designed costumes for 2001: A Space Odyssey this is not sufficient grounds for a link about his work in general to be added to the article. A brief mention of his contribution with a citation in the article would be enough. Also, please do not create empty sections in the article on "Costumes" without putting any content in the section. A paragraph on the costumes in the "production" section might be an idea, but please don't create empty sections.--WickerGuy (talk) 16:23, 17 May 2011 (UTC)
Hardy Amies at Space Odyssey Redux[edit]
Your new addition to the article 2001: A Space Odyssey is a huge improvement over that last one but contains many violations of WP's policy in no original research and some of the policy neutral point of view. You need to include inline citations for each major generalization made and avoid flattering peacock language. However, it's quite promising. I have deleted your recent addition, but seriously, keep trying!! I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:09, 19 May 2011 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. Thanks for uploading File:Hardy amies sofa portrait.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

Orphaned non-free image File:Hardy-amies-logo.png[edit]
Thanks for uploading File:Hardy-amies-logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
