Information.svg Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Ruben Studdard, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. Aspects 15:44, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Melissa O'Neil - Album.jpg)[edit]

Nuvola apps important blue.svg Thanks for uploading Image:Melissa O'Neil - Album.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 17:21, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

Blocked[edit]

Your continuing violations of our policy on image use has earned you a block. Please use this time to read and understand WP:IUP. Your contributions to Sugababes have been reverted as they blatantly violated this policy. --Yamla (talk) 16:30, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Album certifications[edit]

Hi. Before you add any album certifications to an article, you should look it up first on the BPI's website and then add the bpi page it's listed on as a reference. Shayne Ward's debut album only went single-platinum. anemoneprojectors 18:26, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

Nuvola apps important.svg Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did to Girls Aloud discography, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please do not introduce incorrect album certifications into articles. Sound of the Underground has been 2x certified platinum, and Sound of Girls Aloud has been 3x certified platinum. Please check the BPI website before changing certification information in future. ~~ [Jam][talk] 17:11, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Kate DeAraugo2.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Kate DeAraugo2.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Image use policy[edit]

Ryan, I know that this has been brought up with you before, but have you familiarized yourself with our image use policies? Your recent edits [1] [2] and uploads raise concern. Please undo the image use violations; I would rather not see you blocked for this again. Also, while I'm here, could I ask you please to use the "show preview" button? Your multiple changes to articles such as Eva Avila are unnecessary and it is often unclear what changes you are attempting, especially since you do not use edit summaries. Thanks, and do feel free to ask questions. --Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 22:21, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Flagicons[edit]

I removed the flagicons you added to Casey Donovan (singer), Kate DeAraugo, Ben Lummis and Rosita Vai. Please read Wikipedia:Manual of Style (flags) before adding flagicons to any more articles. Specifically, please read Wikipedia:Manual of Style (flags)#Not for use in locations of birth and death for not adding flagicons to represent the places people were born or died in. The X Factor (UK)[edit]

Hi

With this edit you removed {{fact}} tags, but made no effort to provide any references to replace them - please don't do this. Wikipedia relies on verifiability; {{fact}} tags are how we communicate to readers and other editors that references are missing and should be found. As such you should only remove {{fact}} tags when adding references, not merely changing the text.

Love In A Million Shades[edit]

Nuvola apps important.svg

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Love In A Million Shades, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Lovers (Hanna Pakarinen album). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally moving or duplicating content, please be sure you have followed the procedure at Wikipedia:Splitting by acknowledging the duplication of material in edit summary to preserve attribution history.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 15:20, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

You are now a Reviewer[edit]

Wikipedia Reviewer.svg

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:39, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
