Thank you for adding another recording of Halka. I trimmed it, to adhere to our house style a bit more. I have no idea why any recording of that opera appears on the composer's article and not the opera's. Please also add a reference, or someone may remove it altogether. - The beginning is a bit tough, happy editing nonetheless! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:13, 13 April 2019 (UTC) [reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Krystian Lada, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello Sermodus. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Sermodus. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Sermodus|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Praxidicae (talk) 14:39, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Ivan Lopez-Reynoso (Conductor), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. The page Krystian Lada has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appeared to be a direct copy from http://sermodus.com/artist/krystian-lada. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion Review -- Amanda (aka DQ) 14:47, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

April 2020[edit]

There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Additionally, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block. To do so, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page. -- Amanda (aka DQ) 15:06, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I am the manager of Ivan Lopez-Reynoso. I may not have been skilled to discern the level of disclosure yet this was never ill-intended, for I have been using my gmail account that shows the name of the agency that represents him as well as on the external links. I am contributing at this level for the first time and I may have made some mistakes related to disclosure and I am sorry about that. Said that Ivan is a young conductor with a career very rare to find as his accomplishments prove. All the information added on the page so far was factual, nothing was a product from the judgement or intended to be promotion. For that I see no difference between his page and the page of other artists with biographical information, school, career, achievements, prizes, accomplishments. In regards to the page on Krystian Lada, equally, I started the page with basic info of his biography and career, not different to many other biographical entries without any personal endorsement, opinion o subjective judgement. Most of the people he has collaborated with have their own entries on Wikipedia. As for the photos, I have full right to use those which have been paid by the artists with full rights; furthermore I included the name of the photographer so I have been transparent, but maybe I was not knowledgeable enough to understand the syntax to declare this honesty and I am sorry about that. Removing these entries from Wikipedia removes valuable information that I would not understand why it is kept out of the public domain. If I need to amend the pages to comply with the policies I am more than willing to do so. Like I said it is not easy to fully understand the syntax rules to enter information and disclose sources but I will do my best. I was expecting feedback from the editors if some information seemed not compliant, if further references were required but not this full blockage without the opportunity to amend whatever is necessary. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sermodus (talkcontribs) 15:58, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

We aren't interested in having you write about subject areas for which you have a conflict of interest. To understand why, see WP:COI and WP:PROMO. If you wish to write about other subject areas, follow the instructions above and tell us what you'll write about instead. Yamla (talk) 17:10, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Point taken. It saddens me that to be blocked to contribute altogether. If I understand correctly I cannot write or contrinute to comments of people I have a direct interest in like this case which clearly I commit not to do in the future. I would like and can commit however to contribute to other topics in the future for which I would like to have that block lifted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sermodus (talkcontribs) 17:26, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

And your block was also for copyrighted material. How can you show the block is not still needed for that? -- Amanda (aka DQ) 23:51, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Dear DeltaQuad, there is no copyrighted material; this material's license was purchased and paid for for this use. If I declared this material wrongly I had already expressed my willingness to amend the error. I wanted to be nice to the photographer and recognise his work although I have no need to so it. Separately, your tone is inappropriate to address someone who has shown humility in his doing with no ill intention and only in his best efforts. To prove my point of discriminatory evaluation I could put hundreds of examples but I will put just one for the sake of it where Wikipedia even allows to promote her youtube channel: the wikipedia page of alleged actresses such as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audrey_Marnay. I can no longer contribute financially to a project that comes across as hostile as this belonging to a world of haters rather than highly intellectual people as myself and I am appalled you are entitled to do this job. The good news, I have something better to do. I wish you had been more respectful. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sermodus (talkcontribs)
As you only need one open request, I have removed the formatting. I don't see where DQ has a bad "tone"(which is difficult to judge with text communication). Whether you donate to the Wikimedia Foundation or not is your decision- but donating or withholding donations has no effect on activities here. The Founation only operates the computers Wikipedia is on, and does not involve itself in day to day operations. If anyone could affect content by withholding donations(or donating), this would cease to be a neutral encyclopedia. 331dot (talk) 13:26, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Please see other stuff exists. Other inappropriate content existing does not mean your inappropriate content can exist too. As this is a volunteer project where people do what they can when they can, it is possible for inappropriate content to go undetected or unaddressed, even for years. We can only address what we know about. Can I assume from "I have something better to do" that you are withdrawing your request to be unblocked? 331dot (talk) 13:28, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
